    • A good visit but becoming expensive for a day out

Went here today with 4 adults and 3 children ranging from 3 to 11. Its very clean and well kept, the staff are friendly to. The adventure play park is no different to when I went on it when I was younger. Food is expensive which I think is annoying that the comment is but these places are, when it shouldnt be its for familys. Entry for 68.50 for 7 of us I think is steep when all you get is a adventure play park. Toilets are bad, you need to look at how there maintained during the day as there not clean. No warning sign for taps as they have boiling hot water come out. Wasps I appreciate are a problem everywhere but how you control them is how they can be prevented, bins are swarming with them and the old coke bottles with a liquid to trap them is a poor attempt as they have clearly never been emptied. While we were there 2 people were stung and its an accident waiting to happen. Garden and house are ok but again no different, it would be nice to see some investment into the park and grounds for something new.

A kids dream of a playground, you have a large area of swings, climbing activity, a ship, slides etc, kids go into there own world of adventure here there is all sorts to do for all ages and adults can sit and watch and know that their children are in safe environment. Family's could also have a picnic here.

    • Pirate Galleon - accident waiting to happen!

I followed my 3 year old son around the galleon and was horrified to see how easy it would be for a toddler to fall through the rope barriers or the open window overlooking the central area, with a drop of about 8 feet and a large solid base for the mast which would cause very serious injury. Given there is netting to prevent this happening everywhere else around the ship, why has this area not been included? The Pirate Galleon seems to be a magnet for toddlers because it is so easily accessible by them, and from the outside looks very safe. When I was inside, there were a number of other parents watching their toddlers from the outside with no idea of how dangerous it was. This ship is great fun for toddlers, I really very much hope you can put safety netting across the central area just like everywhere else to avoid the risk of very serious injury to a toddler.

This is a great place for kids. There is something for all ages. Toddlers to teens. I took my 2 year old grandson who ran around for four hours. The biggest down side was the price of the food and drink. I found the postcode on the sat nav a bit miss leading. It sent me to the hotel and golf club. All in all a good day out.

A lovely play area which I returned to after some 30 years !! Some things have changed ...more slides is a plus but only one trampoline ! Needless to say nobody obeyed the sign saying only one child at a time ...too busy drinking their coffee rather than supervising their children . No staff supervising the area at all and the ball pit hut within the play area not supervised either. Sadly a young boy throwing balls at other children and his Dad said nothing to him. Great pirate ship and swing boats and a huge sturdy climbing frame up to the planks to walk to various slides...can climb up ladders rather than the rope ladders. Although the area is for under 12s it seems it is okay for parents/carers to go up with their children to help which is good otherwise many little ones would have got stuck ! Plenty of places to sit for a picnic . Agree with earlier comment, toilet facilities not close enough for little ones really. Overall a lovely day albeit expensive.
