    • Everything was great

      Reviewed 01 September 2019

Due to the heavy rain in the Saga area, landslide, flooding combined with series of road closures forced us to spend 5 hours from Fukuoka, even though we anticipated that and started we early. We arrived the front desk at 8:45pm and the lady was kind enough to offer dinner at the Terrace Restaurant which was included in my package deal when we were supposed to arrive by 8:00pm. The food at the restaurant was excellent and staffs are professional. There are a number of foreign origin staffs who speak English. We stayed at the Bark Lodge. The room looks brand new, spacious, clean and has a great view. Although occasionally, I was able to smell dog odour in some area. I am a dog person so it did not really bother me and hardly noticeable. We travelled with my daughter and did not manage to go to the beach nearby or the Island Lumina due to the rain. But the onsen (hot spring) and the indoors kids playground are good enough to keep us occupy. Finally, I need to heap praise again to dinner shift staffs of the Terence Restaurant again on the 28th August. We are deeply sorry for delaying you to finish your shift. Your professionalism had not gone unnoticed.

An hour away from airport. You can take the train to Nagasaki city n take their hotel shuttle. Please book in advance. You can spend 2 fruitful days in the resort. They have everything! Water island at beach was fun! They have shuttle bus to go around the resort. Restaurants are great. Amazing Japanese style breakfast. 3 onsens in different location and provide different views. You can visit fisherman lounge for drink at night. Pay 1000 and enjoy drinks, snacks, darts, ball pool. The resort is as of photos. Terrace lodge is new and good size. Great place for friends and family. Service is great too. Friendly staffs.

    • Nice room, reasonable value

We stayed with family in two terrace rooms which were really nice, one upstairs, the other one downstairs. The complex is well managed, has good facilities, and friendly staff. One Japanese bath was a bit disappointing (small), the other one nice. Shuttle busses between the complexes were available with nearly no waiting time. We made also good use of the badminton/ table tennis facility which was rather cheap and well maintained. Dinner was nice, breakfast a bit disappointing.

    • Great resort for recuperating and sightseeing

      Reviewed 05 August 2018

If you are looking for a location to recuperate for couple of days, surrounded by sea and greenery, i+Land is the perfect location. I spent 3 nights in total. i+Land is on a little island called Iojima - connected to Nagasaki mainland by roads/bridge. I was bit confused to what I was booking as there were so many room options on the resort's website. Turns out, it's a huge resort with different building and hotel types. They all happened to be under i+Land - all in same area, scattered around. Mine was Nagi Hotel which faces the ocean. The room is huge, clean and quiet. You get to wake up facing the ocean because they strategically face the bed in front of the huge balcony. Some parts of the hotels are looking bit old (ie the bathing area in hotel, closets) but I think it adds charm and character. There are 2 main onsen area in the huge resort. Yuyu Spa is right next to Nagi Hotel - I love the rustic charm in Yuyu Spa. The other onsen is newer, more contemporary. It can be bit of a walk but going there by car is less than a minute. Just wait for the resort's shuttle if you don't have a car. I booked a private onsen for 3,000 yen per hour. You get a nice little hotel room, sauna and onsen in a private garden to yourself. It's worth the experience. Breakfast is Japanese style. You get to pick your own rice, miso soup, coffee, drinks at the buffet bar. The staff would serve you a new dish for each day you stay. It's mainly seafood. The staff at breakfast are friendly and polite. The resort is a very short drive away from food (Joyfull, Sukiya etc). I have never felt that it was inconvenient living there. It's 45 mins drive away from central Nagasaki. Do note: The drive back is scenic, lots to see if you enjoy looking at traditional Japanese houses. The resort is also right next to the Iojima port - which can take you to Hashima Island if you join a tour, so that was really convenient. If I am in the area, I'd definitely visit again.

So satisfying place to visit.
