The rooms are outdated. Although clean, there was a musty smell in the room when the AC was not running. I'd pick another hotel next time I visit Destin...so many other choices. The location was great though, especially if you want to go to the Kahuna amusement area.

great service and amenities. The pool was clean and refreshing, hot tub nice and hot and the staff all friendly, helpful and gracious. The room was clean and comfy. Nice hot showers, working computer room and the best part was the breakfast bar. Very grateful to all

We didn't make to the hotel until almost midnight and the front desk was very helpful and greeted us with a smile and ask us how our day and flight was. The breakfast was very nice. The pool was awesome. The grounds were well kept, very pretty

ReviewedThe staff here is simply amazing!! As soon as we walked through the door we were greeted with Ashley's beautiful smile. She made us feel like royalty. The next day we had a problem with our reservation and Ashley and Brian were very patient and helpful and didnt make us feel like the loosers we must of looked like. THE BREAKFAST IS TO DIE FOR.!! FYI

Stayed at Wingate after spending a week at a Super 8 in Orlando. The Super 8 had ac that had us freezing. The Wingate ac barely cooled us. Reported it to the front desk, they cleaned the A.C. filter and it cooled slightly better. Will probably not stay there again.
