I used to be fairly active in writing TripAdvisor reviews, but have been out of the habit of doing so lately. An experience this morning at this hotel, however, prompts me to pick up my phone and post a review. We arrived here last night, and the valet folks took our car. In browsing through the hotel brochure before going to bed, I noticed that the hotel has two Destination Chargers, so I asked at the front desk this morning if I could arrange to plug-in and charge. The woman at the desk asked if ours was the white Model 3 (which it is) and said that it had already been charged by the valet folks. Kudos to the Waldorf Astoria Park City for big touches, such as having Destination Chargers, helping to encourage and accelerate the move to green travel......kudos also for pro-active, thoughtful little touches, such as charging your car without being asked to do so.

After years of traveling to Park City a place you want to stay at is the Waldorf Astoria, Park City. Extremely nice resort that is not stuffy where the people are very friendly and accommodating. The hotel has a great restaurant on premises as well as a World Class Spa, The Gym has all the latest equipment and Pool area Is situated in the right spot nestled between the horseshoe shaped exterior with golf course and Mountain Views. We were just there in the summer but the Winter is just as good. This hotel is ski in and ski out. The perfect Hotel in an amazing place called Park City. Enjoy!!!

Major disappointment. Small, tired room. Frowning faces, poor/slow poolside service. Screaming kids and McDonalds trash, old towels, not enough chairs. Concierge disorganized and offered a fly fishing day that was THREE times more than the excellent guide I found myself. Poor suggestions of local restaurants. The lobby is tired, outdated. There was NO sense of anything special. At all. A huge waste of money/points for what it was. WAY better values in Park City with better service/condition. Girlfriend had a spa experience where SHE had to find her way to locker room and find a locker. No tour or welcome as in any higher end resort. Im sorry to have to write about such a bad experience. But it was.
