    • Very nice view and good service

      Reviewed 11 September 2019

Very nice hotel with a magnificent view. Perfect location for honeymooners in the middle of nowhere. U can only get there by taxi boat. My only comment is that they should stick to their boat transfer schedule: since they told us that at 1:30 pm the boat arrives for pick up and they it didn't show up until 2:30 pm.

This was not what I expected. The views from the villas are amazing HOWEVER, there was a lot missing. At night there is a lot of noise, not sure if its the tree branches hitting the windows and odd sounds continuously, we never slept well. The pictures shown online makes the property look better than it really is. There were lots of things that needed maintenance. I think it was great at one time but over the years it hasnt been maintained. The restaurant hours were minimal. We were told we could snorkel and there was a market since its isolated. This was not as they portrayed it. You had to walk through a dark wooded area of rocks and mud to get to another hotel where the market was. The snorkeling consisted on the staff giving you a canoe and pointing where you should go. We ventured out and there was no real snorkeling where they directed us. Ive snorkeled before. Theres suppose to be complimentary boat taxi to pier when checking out but its only available at 8am and 11am, its common knowledge the ferry leaves the pier for the mainland at 11am and 2pm, its only a 25-30 min boat ride. So your only other option is to pay the hotel 1000 Bahts to go at a reasonable time. Overall it was very disappointing. It is overpriced for what you get. I wont go back.

    • room was gorgeous...but infested

Im writing this review currently from the room with a centipede near the TV, a large lizard in our bathroom, a small one on the wall, and a bunch of other bugs we had to kill all over the ground. Im honestly waiting for a monkey to come out from the closet. We have towels stuffed in every door crack. The service is great, the staff are friendly and helpful, the room is beautiful and the view is unmatched...but its like they cleaned our room with the door open today. Yesterday it was not like this, tonight we are completely infested.

    • Amazing!!

Had a 3 night stay here in this amazing hotel! It has the most beautiful views, staff could not do enough for you. The shuttle bus service to take you around the resort is perfect. The place is so peaceful, definitely need to visit when in Phi Phi.

When arriving, we were welcomed graciously by the hotel staff upon arriving, however, the manager of the front desk began explaining our amenities but certain areas have shorter hours because it was the off season. Not a problem, we understand there are off seasons like everywhere else, but we arent paying for shorter hours and half staff efforts. This off season attitude became more and more apparent as our stay went on; Having to go get someone to seat us at breakfast, finding someone to serve us at the pool, and calling three times to reach someone for service to our room, all the while feeling like a burden to the staff when we eventually found someone to help us. There was also no hot water in our room to shower with, and although there are a lot of free things at the mini bar, it doesnt make up for the lack of service elsewhere. We eventually packed up and went somewhere else.
