If I could rate this place more than 5 stars I would! First off, Rachel is the kindest lady and sweetest host. The breakfasts she made my friend and I was out of this world! I felt like a princess staying there by the amount of times Rachel went above and beyond for us during our stay. She pays attention to even the little details and it shows! Her decorations Second off, the Valley House is absolutely beautiful inside and out; I felt like I was in the Titanic but on land! Definitely recommend walking down the street to see the beautiful view of the mountains & lake, then lighting a fire out in the backyard. Incredibly relaxing, cant wait to go back!

Great find. My husband and I booked the Valley House Inn as the last stop on our 2 week vacation. It was perfect. The owner Rachel went way out of her way to make the last stop of our 45th wedding anniversary like we were newly weds. The room was so well decorated and the bed was so great we came back and took naps in the middle of the day which never happens! The breakfast was to die for with fresh farm eggs and everything organic. There is a firepit with smores and outside string lighting. Right next to the mountains. Perfect for the summer. Would be fantastic for the ski season and right across from the Shooting Star Saloon. The oldest business in Utah with a fantastic burger and ambience. Really a must stay for anyone visiting Utah

My friend & I stayed at this bed & breakfast for three days coming out of Texas and absolutely loved it! Rachael was such a good host and goes above & beyond for her guests. I have not received hospitality like this anywhere else I have stayed considering she makes the breakfasts herself from scratch and decorates the room for special occasions! There is so much history in this Valley House and it is a great place to stay to relax and enjoy the outdoors. Highly recommend & will be coming back!

My family and I stayed at the Valley House Inn for a night in June. The location is perfect for seeing the surrounding areas and the building and grounds are beautiful. The room was spotless and all expected amenities were there. The best part was the service and friendly attitude. Cathy was an incredible host and made an amazing breakfast for us. Also, my wife forgot her watch and Cathy/Rachel texted us after we left to let us know and even mailed it back to us. I can't say enough about well the Inn is run and how welcoming the owners/staff are.

    • Perfect Wedding Venue

My fiance and I were looking for a place to have a quiet intimate ceremony and when we came across the Valley House Inn we thought it would be perfect. On the drive out to the end I felt like it was forever, but once we reached our destination it was the perfect little getaway. The first night I spent with my sister our room was adorable and me staff was very attentive, & the quiet calm of the home was perfect for a night before the wedding. On the day of the wedding Rachel was wonderful and helped me with everything I needed, if you are a bride looking for someone to help, even if it's a larger wedding I know Rachel would be a great asset to your wedding day. The venue was a quaint beautiful shady spot that worked perfect for our intimate day. Our friends and family gushed about how beautiful the layout and landscaping was and you can see the mountains from every which way! Our wedding suite was absolutely perfect they were so kind to decorate a room with roses and the bed was so comfy that it was the perfect place to rest my head after a long busy day. The honeymoom suite also included a perfect breakfast nook for us to have our morning breakfast alone (also I would eat the breakfast they served everyday if I could). That morning we took a lovely walk down to the lake and around to a park and the small quiet quaint town was perfect for roaming and just enjoying spending time with your loved one. If you are either looking for a wedding venue or just a place to stay I would suggest this in as it is perfect for all events and totally worth the drive.
