    • An ok place to stay in a great location.

      Reviewed 28 June 2019

We booked our room thinking it would just be my husband and I traveling. At the last minute we learned our 3 kiddos would be tagging along. They are 3,5 &7 so we didn't think it was big deal. When we arrived to the hotel we had to add the kids onto our purchase price. Our total purchase price was $482.51 but after adding 2 out of 3 of the kids on it went to $550.28. I guess I could understand a little extra but I didn't feel that a difference of $67.77 was justified. They slept in the same beds with us and the only extra thing we received was 3 additional towel sets. The room was ok. It wasn't tiled, just dark green carpet that showed every single speck of sand. They did have a vacuum cleaner in the closet so we made good use of that. We had double beds which worked out ok because we split the kids and us among them. There was no balcony. We were on the street side so it was a little noisy but got pretty quiet at night. It was very bright and almost seemed like it was daytime all night. the next night we were able to rig one of the comforters to cover the window and help darken the room. The AC was ice cold but very loud. It ran basically the majority of the time we were in there so it was a loud noise throughout the night. The pool was nice, it got very warm by the end of the night. It almost felt like a hot tub each night. The walk to the beach was very short down a small dead-end street. It's a beautiful beach and a great place to relax. We walked to get ice cream one night and to John's Pass another. Both were quick and easy walks. The hotel is older and it seems like it's pretty clean it just needs some cosmetic repairs. It's in a great location for visiting the John's Pass area or even a short drive to the St. Petersburg/Clearwater/Tampa areas.

    • Great Location

      Reviewed 24 June 2019

This is a very well positioned place with easy access to the beach and local attractions. The rooms are well equipped and very clean. There are lots of thoughtful useful extras like towels and chairs for the beach. The only downside are the buildings echo noises and some guests are very loud. We would try this place again and perhaps would have a upper level room.

    • Very poor!

      Reviewed 01 March 2019

Oh my goodness...I want to give these owners a good shake! They have a fantastic location, close to the beautiful beach and within walking distance of Johns Pass. The downside is that this property needs a lot of money spent on it to get up to any decent standard. The pool itself is good...warm and clean, however the pool area is a disaster. Broken concrete, paint peeling, broken table tennis table, rubbish lying about, dead plants...the list goes on. The apartments seem to be different in size and owned by different people...hence the difference in the reviews. We booked no 10 through another site and it wasn't great. The plus side first...there was a comfortable bed and decent wifi, decent size lounge and newish suite. The downside next. The kitchen was hand made and dilapidated, the bathroom was needing renewed completely, the towels were a throw back to the 80's when brown was a fashionable colour. The outside balcony was needing power washed and painted and the cabling to the TVs box was tied up with plastic cable ties. All utensils in the kitchen were what seemed like the left overs from a garage sale. The ceiling vents were rusty, as was the lighting unit in the bathroom. All very very poor...hence we certainly would not go back...which is a shame as the location is perfect.

    • Great Central area and nice stay

      Reviewed 25 February 2019

I enjoy my stay in the month of November I have booked this location for 7 years We always enjoy our stay Its central for us to go where we like to go Close to Johns Board Walk and other entertaining locations in the area The Hotel manager (Shurla) has been great to us every stay We get treated like a welcomed visitor every time and she helps us out, with out hesitation . She treats us like family and not like a number in the big locations The rooms are clean and spacious for us To the Hotel owner -Only wish they put TVs in the bedrooms like most hotels -Another down fall is the phone service in our room has been out of service for over a year now (2 stays for us) Hope this matter is fixed in our return Overall we always enjoy our stay and enjoy the location

    • Not bad but somewhat misleading

      Reviewed 11 November 2018

This isn't a bad property that you should run away from in terror but everyone should be aware that it's a little misleading. For starters, if you look through the pictures pay close attention to the area around the pool and you will see that you have to cross a street with parking to get to the pool. Then there's the fact that each apartment is very different and they only take select pictures of each one. The one I ended up with they took one picture of the living room that makes it look longer than it actually is. My place does not have a balcony of any sort and even though it's a cute little place it definitely doesn't make me feel at home. I was also promised wi-fi. I had to pay to turn my cell phone into a mobile hot spot as the wi-fi signal is so weak it keeps blinking in and out so I really can't do anything on the internet with it. It leads me to believe that there is only one router that's not high capacity situated in the tiny main office. If you're looking for a place that has someone on hand to help you between 5pm and the next morning, this isn't it. Finally, although my place is non-smoking it is situated over the designated smoking area down stairs so that I have to walk through cigarette smoke every time I come or go from my apartment. The beach is lovely and right down the street. The place is definitely clean and if none of these things would bother you, go for it. If they would, find somewhere else to stay.
