    • Unprofessional staff and very poor service, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE

      Reviewed 03 October 2019

We had a disappointing experience at this hotel when we stayed there in August 2019. We went there with our Egyptian friends who had 3 booked rooms; the receptionist gave all of us yellow bracelet for all inclusive. We waited for check-in till 03:17 pm, and upon questioning the receptionist, he was very rude. I asked for the receptionist manager who instead of being professional to apologize, or even explain why we have late check-in, he started to be even more rude and stated that the room is not ready yet. In our first day, I noticed that the yellow bracelet is only for local Egyptians (as I was told by my Egyptian friends), and we have to stay in different areas from all other guests, with the most poor service and the worst restaurants. I talked to the receptionist manager who explained the discrimination in the all inclusive packages, and that the yellow bracelet for Egyptians only!!!, and when I stated that I'm not Egyptian, only my friends are, he gave me another green bracelet. The green bracelet opens more facilities/amenities in the hotel, that you can't reach if you are Egyptian. I think you should be SPECIAL Egyptian to get another NON-yellow bracelet color.

    • 5* ? Not quite but nearly there.

      Reviewed 03 October 2019

We stayed here for 2 weeks and thoroughly enjoyed it. We went mainly for the snorkeling and this was amazing, no matter what level you are at, there is an enclosed (sort of enclosed) area of reef just off the side of the jetty that is manned for your safety with life jackets if needed and there is open sea to the end of the jetty that is only open when the water is calm. The hotel has a grand entrance & is very clean throughout. This said, it is not a 5* due to the finishing touches to the rooms. Drawers that don't close, shoddy plastering everywhere & a balcony are that was very tired and needed updating, all minor things but remember you are not paying 5* prices so don't kid yourselves !!! Apart form the minor things its all good. The food is great with a massive variety. We found the adults only pool that is separate to the main pool and did all our relaxing there where there are no noisy kids and it has its own private bar !! My only complaint is the tipping but unfortunately lots of websites encourage this. This should be shared so we enquired at reception about a "communal tipping box" but nothing of the sort. When you approach the bar (Particularly the pool bar) you will be waiting for the people who tip regularly to get served first and then it will be you. They hide this by asking you to sit down and they will bring your drinks to you, which they do when they have finished with the tippers. That said I would go back in breath. Enjoy !!!

    • Amazing hotel

Just come back from 2 week away with my mom at this hotel. Its an amazing hotel, the staff are very friendly we had an amazing time. When you check in at reception your welcomed with complimentary drinks. The room we had was spotless and very beautiful, rooms have everything you need such as a hairdryer, kettle, fridge and tv, air conditioning, your even allowed to use the safe though out your stay for free. The hotel supplys you with coffee, tea and fresh bottled water everyday in your room. The food is lovely there is something for everyone and always different food. You also get a coupon to eat at the Mexican and Italian which you can dine at both once a week, the Italian was amazing! The pool areas are always lovely and clean, there are always sunbed available by the pool and the hotel also supplys you with towels as long as you have your towel card which they provide you with so you dont need your towels! There are always staff from the bar that come round and ask if you want a drink when your by the pool. If you want a sunbed on the beach its best to go early as they do go quick by the beach. The entertainment was amazing and there was always something different on every night. Olga was amazing she helped us book a trip to Luxor as our travel company didnt do those trips, she was very helpful and help us with anything we needed!

Just arrived back after a week, and was not disappointed. What a lovely hotel, cant fault it. We spent our time on the beach, plenty of sun beds, waiter service was great, he even brought us drinks without asking us. Snorkelling was amazing, a good selection of fish to see. Room was cleaned to a high standard. Staff were very friendly and always happy to help. Visited the spa, and had an amazing massage. Overall a great week, and guaranteed good weather for the time of the year.

    • Our little slice of Paradise

Second time at the hotel, and have already booked for next year, hotel has alot to offer for families with children, as well as adult only areas if you get the opportunity. My advise would be to book private transfers from the airport, we find it's less stress and hassle and the best way to start the holiday. Also it's a great idea to tip the staff, the service is good any way but a little appreciation goes a long way.
