    • Ghetto

The worst ghetto, piece of crap hotel in the world. Insects, dirty walls and floors, curtains broken and no privacy, people living behind the desk cooking curry and playing some weird music from India. The manager will not refund your money, will not let you cancel, and overcharges you on your bills. Never, ever stay at this rundown, dirty, bed bugged trash pile. You're better off sleeping in your car, if necessary.

I wish Id checked TA reviews before going there, because the general sense of the reviews is on target. The furniture and bed in the room were acceptable; in fact, Id call the bed comfortable. Theres was bare paint on the walls where theyd removed old fixtures during a past renovation, which felt a bit off. The bathroom, while clean, was literally falling apart in places. Trying to turn on the shower, the entire assembly pulled away from the wall. The staff were friendly, and the location isnt bad. We walked to the village, which was uphill, but only 3/.4 of a mile. A couple of good looking restaurants right nearby. I cant recommend staying here.

There were bed bugs in room 218, and the owner did not refund my stay. He was shown a cup that had the collected bed bugs in it. We were given a new room, and still charged for the stay. Dirty, run down hotel.

Please see my 200 Character review on the first page. I dont wish to repeat all of them as its too painful to remember. I really feel like we got taken hook line and sinker on this disgusting motel. Also Id like to say that we have stayed in many places in Mammoth as we are skiers, and have never experienced anything like this. Very disappointing
