    • Waiting

I wouldnt not recommend this for business. We are going on 4 hours waiting for our room to be ready. Our company welcome reception started 30 minutes ago and now we are missing it. The manager said there was nothing he could do, so we continue to wait, and wait and wait. We even paid extra for an upgraded, which was a complete waste.

    • Wonderful beachside location!

I attended a conference at the Tradewinds, and was very impressed by the friendly staff, the varied on site food options, and the clean and well-appointed guest accommodations. I'm a vegetarian, and didn't have any issue locating tasty food that fit my needs. I highly recommend booking one of the balcony rooms facing the water. It's well worth the extra cost. And for conferences, the connecting suites are a great option to share rooms. The meeting rooms are very accessible, and the open lobby area with the coffee bar made socializing with other conferences attendees a breeze. A great location for smaller conferences (300-500 or fewer guests).

I had an amazing time at Tradewinds resort. The view and access of the beach was breathtaking. The jacuzzi at nice is very relaxing and not over crowded. There is tons of fun for the whole family! The staff is amazing and always more than willing to help with anything needed. When leaving to go out on the town Abraham oliveras was exceptional with helping my family. We stopped to ask for recommendations and directions. He gave us great insight of the beach and core directions. He went above and beyond by helping my husband load our suv when everything fell out of the hatch. I cant wait to come back with the family next year!

    • Woken up early! to banging and drills

I stayed here for four nights while I was attending a convention. During out board meeting the night before the convention started, we were served dinner by the Tradewinds. There were several hairs in my food, and on the table! GROSS!!!!! I could barely bring myself to eat and after a few bites, finding hair in my food was enough for me. I did not eat a single item being served by the hotel/resort after that for the rest of the time I stayed there. When I was helping to get the Awards Ceremony night put together, two hours before the ceremony started, the hotel/resort staff was putting the dessert and salads on the tables...all the while everyone was running around getting set up. There was so much activity going on, there is no way the food sitting on the tables wasn't gathering dust and debris! Again, didn't touch a thing and was shocked at the unsanitary activity. I was lucky enough to have a main floor, beach front room with a patio. However, on the last morning there, I was woken up at 7ish a.m. to the sounds of banging and drills that sounded like they were right next door! It was sooooooo loud! I was so angry, that even though it was early, I packed up my stuff and checked out. I would never, ever stay here again! Due to the hair and unsanitary practices with the food, and being woken up ridiculously early in a room I paid an expensive price to stay in, I cannot recommend this resort as well! Find a better resort/hotel on the same beach...there are several to choose from.
