This large hotel has good sized modern decor rooms, with free WiFi, flatscreen TV, desk, fridge, safety deposit box but no tea or coffee making facilities. There is also a small bar and restaurant I didn't have anything to eat including breakfast so unfortunately cannot comment. Within walking distance over the bridge is a cafe/restaurant serving drinks and food mainly pizzas which are very good. The staff at the hotel appear friendly and helpful.

    • Disappointing visit

We stayed at this hotel whilst on a tour with Cosmos. On arrival the external appearance was pleasing and the entrance lounge well appointed. Unfortunately that was the highlight of the stay. Our room was tired with heavily marked walls. The TV did not work, the air con sounded like a lawnmower and the in room safe did not work. On the first night in the hotel we ate from the A La Carte menu and the food was of a good standard though the service was slow- there seemed to be insufficient staff. The following three nights the meals were covered in our tour package. The first of these meals was appalling, the main course consisted of a scoop of mashed potato a couple of slices of indeterminate meat and a dozen peas. It was like something out of Fawlty Towers. It was not aided by there being insufficient staff which meant that no drink orders were taken until the desert was being served . Despite the central location in Tuscany I will never go to this hotel again.

    • Very good location!

We wanted to visit Toscana with my husband and daughter this summer. The location off the hotel is excellent.!! Florence is just 25 min and Sienna 30min. Its just in the middle !! The room was ok clean with everything we needed. The staff was ok too. The breakfast was very poor... the coffee was not good they didnt have much variety of hot things (only scrambled eggs and bacon...). The service was good. One more thing which is important is that this is a hotel with a lot of groups. So there were times that it was too noisy especially 6:00 in the morning.... Generally a good 3 star for our us.

    • Lots of problems here.

We were allotted this hotel for one night of a Tripadeal tour. We had had wonderful day in Tuscany and it was a let down to arrive in this hotel. The hotel gave out an air of desperation, obviously cutting any possible corners to reduce the price for the big tour operators. The smallish rooms were unkempt with badly marked walls and one plastic chair. The entrance light did not work, nor did the air conditioning. There was nothing in the fridge, the beds were too short even though I am only 6'1". Luckily the large awning window facing the bus parking lot opened, saving us from certain suffocation as the room faced the setting sun. The Wi-Fi barely worked similarly the fridge with most of our group reporting theirs did not work at all. One of our group was so disgusted he put the fridge in the corridor. The shower is a bath climb over. On the plus side was our bathroom was clean, another guest had a toilet full of faeces. This hotel badly let down an otherwise enjoyable day.

    • Nice quaint town - horrible hotel

      Reviewed 31 May 2018

Stayed here while on a Cosmos tour for four nights. Rooms are dirty, outdated and many things like the refrigerator did not work. There was a bad smell of mold on the room and carpets appeared to be very seldom cleaned/vacuumed. The staff was indifferent boarding on arrogant. The most disturbing thing was our first night there the restaurant was opened and served very well prepared appetizers. However each subsequent night the hotel provided dinner for the tour and the slop they passed off as edible food became even more inedible with each passing dinner. So I know they can provide decent food but what they gave to the tours was stuff I would not feed my dog. Their morning buffets left a lot to be desired as well. Very few selections of protein but very top heavy with sweet pastries. Coffee machines poured very poor quality coffee. WIFI was spotty and kept going down. Pluses there is a grocery store down the street and the town of Poggibonsi is quaint with nice pubs and restaurants. Pictures below are of the amazing appetizers so they have the capability of preparing good quality food and then a picture of Poggibonsi
