Mediocre at best. Over priced. Bread for smoked meat sandwich was dry and stale. Poutine was meh. No tap water - you must buy a plastic bottle of water. And for 3.50 you can have a can of pop... with a straw put in it for you (are we really still doing that- its 2020 ditch the straws for lords sake!). Keep walking - find something better.

Do. Not. I repeat... do not by any any any means ever step foot into this joke of a restaurant, unless youre willing and ready to be treated extremely poorly and with the utmost disrespect. As a frequent diner at restaurants, Ive seen just about everything... until today. We walked up the stairs into the establishment with smiles on our faces, opened the glass door to a dirty look on a young, sloppily dressed busboy. He said wait outside and slammed the glass door in our face. This is the first instance where we started to feel uneasy. After a few minutes, we opened the glass door, stepped inside.. he proceeds to POINT to a table, which we assumed to be his way of directing us to our seats. I said to him, what wonderful service, to which he smugly responds Youre welcome. We decide to let it pass. The same young man went to his manager, started pointing at our table, laughing. When our server finally came up to us, we voiced our concerns and how uncomfortable and disrespected we felt. He said will call the manager over. The manager on duty came over, upset and pissed that we had called him over in the first place, and angrily dismissed all our reservations. He kept defending the actions of his employee and proceeded to tell us were being dramatic. When we got up to leave, he FOLLOWED us out, starting to yell into the street I dont know what youre trying to do, but youre being very dramatic. All the passerbys stopped to look at him, and even people that were about to go in and done there changed their minds. I see no reason why a manager who also happens to be a male feels the need to follow 3 women out into the street, yelling aggressively, essentially harassing them. Avoid at all costs! They are disrespectful, uncivil and hostile.

Really lovely place to rest your weary bones and restore yourself after walking around Old Montreal, the little courtyard is extremely pleasant in the summer, staff is friendly and accommodating . Didn't order the poutine as I had some the day before so went for a burger and it was delicious and as everywhere I have been in Montreal the beer was excellent.
