My husband and I were celebrating his special birthday this year and decided to have a special holiday. Neither of us had been to Malaysia before and both fell in love with the country and its people who were all so friendly and welcoming. We booked the Westin as it was recommended by the travel agent and I am so glad we did. We were absolutely blown away from the time of our arrival right up to the very last minute. The staff could not do enough for us, made us feel so special and they seemed to have a great rapport with each other making for a very relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere. Big shoutout to Shafiee in the main bar who organised a little farewell surprise for us, we were really touched by the gesture. The room was beautiful, very comfortable and well serviced. The main pool area was stunning with the most amazing views to look out on. We spent most evenings in the main bar, having eaten locally in the nearby town of Kuah, enjoying the stunning views and relaxed atmosphere. Breakfast was delicious with lots to choose from and the staff there were also very welcoming and friendly, a great way to start the day. We ate at the Tide restaurant on our first night which was also very tasty. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. I dont normally like visiting the same place twice but we are already planning when we might be able to return again.

We spent 3 nights here and it was better than I expected. The room was spacious and perfect for a family with one teenager because it came with 2 queen beds. The beds are heavenly and thank goodness we didn't opt for the buffet breakfast because we could barely wake up in the morning (only downside was our ac would not stay cold constantly throughout the night for some reason so we all kicked off our blankets at some point). We did order our share of food and beverages (by the pool and in our room) but you can easily call for a Grab to take you to town where there are plenty restaurant options to choose from. The beach is not the best but when it's low tide, it's nice to walk along the shore and explore the tide pools that form. The guests we met were all really friendly and decent as well. The staff had excellent service and we really felt special. We are already planning to go back and will bring friends with us! I've been recommending this place already to many people. When we do go back, we will surely try the buffet breakfast at least once.

This was a fantastic resort - I could not fault anything. From the excellent staff who could not do enough for you to the beautiful pool villa which included everything that you could possibly wish for. The gardens and surrounds were all well kept and felt like a tropical paradise. There were a few pool options including an infinity pool with a fantastic view over the ocean and, if you got thirsty, there was a swim up bar. Breakfast was huge, absolutely spoiled for choice, and the fantastic guys in the Breeze bar made night time lots of fun with their excellent cocktails and service. The private beach had sun lounges and you could hire canoes and stand up paddle boards for a very reasonable price. Can't wait to return.

I super duper loved Westin. I could have stayed there forever! Service was fabulous. Food was good. Room was comfy. Had free flow of chocolates and coffee. Had a great pool and beachside. Nice to walk around downtown too.

The partial oceanview room was in a quiet wing and was ideal for relaxation. The room was clean and the kingsize bed exceptional! Facilities and service at the resort were very good. This isn't a new property but overall it is well maintained. The beach is swimmable at high tide but protective footwear is advised. The service button under the beach umbrellas for food and drinks worked very well! Wine, as with most of Asia, is very expensive and with limited choice. Overall an excellent resort to relax and unwind.
