We loved our room, it was cosy comfortable and really fit the theme of old time Warwick. loved Warwick in general lots of things to do! thought 99% of the staff at the hotel couldnt do more to help you. Unfortunately one of the lads who checked us out felt like to us he couldnt be bothered, didnt tell us hotel (including the restaurant) closed at 6 pm on a Sunday so when we went to collect our suitcase no one was in and we no longer had keys. Almost missed our train if it wasnt for a lovely lady (mum of the manager I believe) who rushed to our rescue, got our bags and then dropped as at the train station so we managed to get there in time! Will definitely go back.

Lovely old building, comfy bed, very clean and modern bathroom but bedroom carpet very dirty. Garden not well kept, disappointing. Bar well stocked but expensive, also restaurant very expensive. Breakfast was different, only a few bananas, blueberries and strawberries, a couple of choices of cereal and yogurt, 2 types of juice then only offered toast, nothing cooked which wasn't pointed out at any time

So stayed here over the bank holiday weekend and the room was very small we had a single bed, a camp bed and a double bed in our room so was very cramped for 2 adults and 2 children. We also had a en-suite with a constant drip in the shower. The stay was okay staff could be do with being a bit more friendly and polite if Im honest. Breakfast was very average it was just continental and if you wanted toast they bought it out to you even though it felt like the toast had come from the freezer it was that cold. Drinks were expensive from the bar but they need to make money somewhere I guess! The bar and reception close early but there is a lovely bar next door if you would like a drink. On our last day we handed our keys in and asked for plates as we sat out the front to do a birthday cake this was in the morning and once we handed the keys back the door was rudely slammed shut behind us and locked, not even a goodbye. After we left we got a phone call about half an hour later to say they were charging us 30 cleaning charge as the room had nappies all over the floor and the room was a complete mess, which is completely untrue! I had put all of our rubbish in a bag and it was put on top of the fridge and it has clearly fallen off (I received pictures of this) they said we had put suncream all over the floor, which it had actually come from the bag that had fallen so not actually our fault. It was clearly an accident from the bag. They said there was blood all over a towel which is completely untrue when I received a picture you could clearly see it wasnt bloody and they have completely over reacted. There was a tiny bit of blood on a sheet from my partner who had been bitten but I mean a tiny spot! They said it took them 2 hours to clean the room which is a joke! I had already put down the camp bed for them stripped the camp bed and put all our used towels in the bath. So all they had to do was there usual clean and pick the rubbish up and clean the little bit of suncream from the floor! When I messaged the manager to speak about this, it was made out like we left the room like this on purpose! Sorry but I cant control that the bag has fallen over! Also when they called to say that they were charging us they advised that the cleaner who went in on the Sunday had taken a video of our room and sent it to someone else(even though we were still staying in that room until the Monday) because the room was so small it looked a mess because we had our luggage in there and we had just had a birthday in that room but sorry regardless of what it looked like who do they think they are! Thats a breach of my privacy. Anyways on asking what is going to be done about this video, the manager said the staff havent got a video(which I knew they were going to deny) so nothing is being done about it. The managers attitude is absolutely disgusting! And I cant believe we are getting changed for two towels that could have just been washed as it was not blood. I would never ever stay here again and have family who is coming to Warwick in a few weeks who were going to book here but not anymore. It was expensive for what you actually get a Tiny room, basic breakfast and rude staff and cant believe the hotel bar shut at 6 on bank holiday Sunday! So think again before booking here, we werent the only unhappy people staying there!

I had a problem with my room, because booking.com cancelled it - so I don't recommend that website. However, I called the hotel on Saturday and only had a response on the Monday of the day I was staying. I'd already sorted by re-booking by same website. I wasn't aware the bar and restaurant were shut on a Monday night (like other places very nearby as it turns out). I had a meal pre-booked elsewhere, but would have loved a glass of wine or cava. The place looks like it is really making an effort with a Spanish inspired menu, and some atmospheric looking fireplaces, suits of armour etc. The parking is very limited 3/4 cars, but the street parking is free from 8pm to 8am. But I found my single room, with shared bathroom (I did know about this in advance) underwhelming and needing some modernisation. I left before breakfast, but it was served between 8-9am - quite tight time limit. So, I won't be back for the room. But may consider trying out the restaurant on another occasion. I get the impression the owners/managers are trying to give this place an identity, and I wish them success.

We stayed at the Tudor House recently, when we arrived it was early so we only wanted to park the car and go off into Warwick. The receptionist told us our room hadn't been used the night before so we could check in. we were told there would be someone there until around 10:00 am but after that there would be no one on site until around 15:00. the hotel was very dark due to there being only emergency lighting, not an inviting place to relax and read a paper etc. we had booked the fourposter room, the room was dominated by the bed with only a small space to move around the room however is was clean and comfortable. we arrived back a the hotel around 16:00 and had a drink at the bar. we discovered that the bar /restaurant was Spanish themed and decided to eat there that evening. Lovely Spanish food and wine and a very good price. If you are staying here make sure you have a good meal the night before as continental breakfast consists of cereal, toast, fruit juice and yogurt. Not a lot of choice for the hungry traveler. I personally would not stay there again due to no day time staff on premises, lack of lighting in public places and the meager breakfast. We would however come and eat in the restaurant.
