Hotel reccomended for just one night not more! Rooms and breakfast hall is smelling bad and the price is very ecxessive for the cost i paid. Not so far from the Falls but anyhow still 2 km... Restaurant is called italiano but for me that i am italian is a sort of the crome, i gently ask to owner to change suddenly the name.

We booked one night at this hotel as part of a 12 Day road trip across the USA. We came in late in N.Falls, around 9pm ... tried to find a hotel near the falls/attractions but they are very expensive. We found the Kalika on line, a bit far for a walking distance on a cold night, but the price we got at the front desk was $112 taxes included. PROS : - rooms were clean - confortable beds - basic complimentary breakfast CONS : - night clerk needs to be fired! ... ... no "hello welcome" and no smile at all ! ... we really felt like we were annoying him while he was on YouTube! ... we needed to go back and ask area informations after our check-in, he had no manners and was very rude to us! - no water pressure at all in the shower ... needed to be against the wall to get some water in the hair - no elevators ... we were on the 2nd floor, my old mother didn't appreciate the stair much - limited parking spaces It was ok for one night but I would explore other options if we ever go back in the area!

The hotel is very centrally located and in close proximity to the falls with no views of falls whatsoever. The prices were reasonable for the season and location. The hotel is very small, the staff is moderately friendly and helpful. The indoor pool is extremely small and the area is not appealing visually. Rooms are very basic with few amenities. Beds were very comfortable. The free breakfast is very limited and gets very busy. Plan on eating early if you must have your free continental breakfast. Coffee was brown water, but there is a Starbucks nearby. Walls and ceilings are thin and noise travels, but it is not a rambunctious hotel so it does not interfere with night sleep but if you are planning on sleeping in late in the morning you may have an issue. The only bad thing I have to say is: dont stay in room 101. It has very recently had some type of water damage and still smells mildewed/moldy. There was also microbial cleaner marks on bathroom door. Asked for a different room and was refused because hotel was sold out. There was no apology or any kind of offer to have housekeeping or maintenance work on the issue, but we were only there for 2 nights and were only using it as a place to sleep.

Rooms small but clean. Breakfast area way to small, waiting in lines for coffee. Parking is very limited. Area around Hotel, scary abandoned homes falling down. Parking area is near alleyway, but it is close to many attractions
