    • Great location and pleasant stay

The location is the best, in the Waterfront. Our reception at the hotel was nice and fast. We stayed in 2 rooms, one with a beautiful view of the mountain. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. The decoration is a little old. The breakfast was incredible, with no ending options, delicious. The hotel has an internal pass way to the Waterfront Mall and it was very convenient. Pleasant stay.

    • The hotel has a beautiful placement by the water

As beautiful as the setting was, it was a noisy hotel as it's situated by a working harbor. The accommodations were wonderful, the daily service of maid service was lacking. All staff members we spoke to were more than accommodating. Would I stay there on our next visit ~ probably not.

    • Always lovely, but let down by lack of attention to detail.

We spent 3 nights at The Table Bay, in a mountain-facing room. The hotel is lovely, it was my 2nd visit, and we will still return. There are, however, attention-to-detail issues that are frustrating, which are disappointing in the light of the caliber of hotel. Perhaps staff training issues... Perhaps some bad apples who let the side down, because most are lovely and hospitable. It took 24 hours and 3 remote control unit changes to get our TV working. We were provided with 1 gown. We ordered champagne which came with 1 glass. The rooms and bathrooms are a little tired and shabby, and our bathroom sink malfunctioned. Some of our (very low value) property was removed from the room (not theft, just annoying lack of concern). The bar fridge was not properly stocked, when on request. All just silly as we would have used it. The room was very poorly cleaned on each day; seemingly the only interest is on departure day. A bit irritating with small kids. Queues at breakfast, and quite a rude breakfast conductress who kept barking orders at guests Stand over there and wait!, etc. So not fantastic, but still worth it for the position, the glorious view, the lovely ambiance, the (mostly) food food, etc.

This was a great hotel. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The choice at breakfast was amazing and staff very pleasant and helpful. Location was ideal for exploring waterfront . Would definitely recommend.

We stayed here for 6 nights last week. We could not fault our stay in any way. Luxurious, clean, comfortable. Great room with all the facilities. Spacious bathroom with beautiful toiletries, towels etc. Housekeeping very good. Huge and delicious variety at buffet breakfast. (How do you make scrambled eggs that delicious?!) Friendly and helpful staff. Entirely wheelchair friendly. Great location on the waterfront. If returning to Cape Town we will definitely stay here again.
