I expected more from Port Ludlow Resort than received for the price. The property is tired and needs an awakening. Our dinner at Fireside was average at best (slow, small, precooked), alongside non-working outdoor heaters. The room was worn with dirty windows (one broken), non-working fireplace, and view that was barely of the water. We will not return.

All the staff were friendly and helpful; we had purchased the golf package, but due to illness we were not able to golf. I just assumed we would still be charged. At checkout, we were asked about golf--when told we didn't, they refunded the difference between packages. Our room (311) was amble, clean, well equiped, and had a great view of the marina and the Olympics. The grounds and trails around the inn are very welcoming and relaxing.

I've never felt the need to write an online review because I am normally able to brush things off and let bad experiences go...but our experience was so bad at the Inn at Port Ludlow that I just want to let folks know there are way better options. The Inn had horrible service, poor rooms and is way too overpriced. I booked our rooms months in advance for a wedding and them know we would be coming with a baby. When I checked in, I found out that we had been placed in the worst room in the hotel for a baby; we were sharing a wall with the elevator and directly over the driveway where all cars, trucks and people come in and out of the hotel. I went back downstairs and asked for a new room and the front desk agent told me - verbatim - that "this is first time I have ever had someone complain about being in that room in 12 years." It was like having to explain to a 5 year old that babies cry when woken up repeatedly by noises, and she was instantly annoyed that I asked. She finally moved us to the exact same room, just one floor up. Thanks. Then we went to dinner, only to be receive the worst service I have ever had at a restaurant. No exaggeration. We waited for 30 minutes to even get our drinks, I had to ask the manager for bread at 1 hour, and we didn't get our meal until 1:35 mins in. The manager comped us a free drink and the server gave us free dessert because she felt so bad - except when I came home and looked at the bill they charged us for everything! So lame. Oh - and they "King" bed? Just two twins beds pushed together. This place is a joke. Lots of better options in the area, including condos and home on Airbnb right in Port Ludlow next to the resort.

Hotel is in a beautiful spot but rooms are in need of an update. Bed was so so, bathroom needs remodeling and as room didnt have A/C it stayed warm well into the night. The restaurant had a great view, but I felt the food was just okay and very expensive.

We were in town for our sons wedding & decided to stay at the Resort at Port Ludlow. Im a light sleeper, so when I booked I confirmed we were on the top floor so I wouldnt hear people walking around above us & made sure it was a quiet room, I was assured it was a quiet room on the 3rd floor. When we checked in we were on the second floor. I said something to the lady at the front desk about confirming a 3rd floor room. She informed me it was not possible to confirm rooms & all they had left was 2nd floor, so we had to take it. We were stuck in room 214 - the room was beautiful, however it was directly above the driveway. We heard every car coming and going at all hours! Not to mention the people moving around above us all night! Plus the marina is right there - heard dogs barking in the night. The beds are horrible! They need to be updated badly, they are old spring mattresses. I went down & asked for some extra comforters to put under our bottom sheet to make it a little tolerable but it really didnt help. Unfortunately we were exhausted the day of our sons wedding. The rooms & resort are beautiful, theres nothing in Port Ludlow but you dont have to go far to find something. The lady I booked with & the one that gave us extra comforters were very nice. Im going to assume that a room at either end of the resort would be quieter but unfortunately we were right in the middle. I would avoid rooms 212 through 217ish, they are above the driveway. Also on floors 1 & 3 they are directly above driveway too! I would consider staying here again if beds are replaced & we were guaranteed a room at the end.
