    • Best spot for the central area of Fuerteventura

This hotel is on the main road in La Oliva. This means its away from the beaches and big tourist crowds on the Fuerteventura coast. It has a nice restaurant and grounds; the weather kept us from trying out the pool and patio areas. The rooms are comfortable and done in an evocative local style. The staff were helpful and the meals at the restaurant were delicious! On our second stay, there was no hot water in our room. The second night of this stay, staff let us use a villa to shower. It would have been better to have hot water, or to have had this villa access both nights.

This is a lovely, little hotel. The staff were exceptional, very friendly, helpful and professional. Size of accommodation excellent. However, the rooms were exceptionally dark, even with the provision of lots of lamps, none of which seemed to give off much light, to the extent that we didn't want to spend more time than necessary in our apartment. This was a comment heard from other guests also. The dining room was very dark too, to the extent that some diners could not read the menu without going to a light source. The local bus service is excellent. Would highly recommend the boat visit to Isla de Los Lobos from Corralejo. It suited us very well that the hotel is away from the main tourist resorts and provides a good base for those who enjoy walking.

We had a perfect holiday here. The villas are part of the hotel and restaurant Casa Vieja. Very nice and beautiful place. The villas are nice, large and clean. The villas are located at La Oliva, at the centre of the island and a 30 minute drive from corralejo or puerta del rosita. It is recommended to rent a car when you stay at the villas. So that you can drive around the island. The villas have their own parkingspace.

Helpful and pleasant staff. Payments accepted with credit cards only (no cash!). We had a huge room with Living area. Restaurant is very nice with subdued lighting and crisp tablecloths which is somewhat rare in Fuerteventura. Two minus points - WiFi only in Bar/Lounge area and the all weather sunloungers are extremely uncomfortable without any mats. Quality food and good breakfasts. Although open to non-residents it would seem that most diners are residents - unlike another nearby hotel which was rammed with particularly scruffy local clients. There are no English channels on TV.
