    • Heaven in the Mountains

The Omnia is heavenly! The rooms are beautiful, spacious, and exceptionally clean, and the views are spectacular. The staff is gracious, responsive, and pay attention to every detail to make sure that the guests are comfortable and that their needs are quickly met. Dominic was especially pleasant and helpful, contributing every day to our wonderful experience. We have stayed in hotels throughout Europe and the Omnia outshines most; we would love to return!

    • Words cannot describe how completely cool this hotel is!

The Omnia is absolutely fantastic. I don't think I've ever been in another hotel with this much attention to detail in every facet of it's operation. To begin, the architecture and design is magnificent. The hotel appears to have been created top to bottom with everything fitting together in a way that is so very pleasing to all the senses. In addition to being gorgeous, it's extremely functional. I can't remember being in a hotel where everything worked so well and was so pleasing to reside in. The bed was crazy comfortable, the shower was exceptional and the chairs on our patio were sheep lined during the day to make gazing at the Matterhorn that much more delightful. Sometimes when traveling you wish for the comforts of home. In the case of the Omnia, I wish I could take home the room and live in it year round. Moving on to the service, it was outstanding. Every employee we encountered was helpful. friendly and seemed genuinely delighted to assist us. Finally, I can't help but mention the restaurant. The food was beyond delicious and it was so attractively presented. From start to finish, this was an outstanding experience and I would highly recommend the Omnia.

    • Amazing Hotel

Believe all of the other reviews. This hotel is really something special. The level of service is really unmatched. Like the others, we were greeted at the train station for a short ride to the hotel, greeted in the very cool drive-in cave, greeted at reception. We were then escorted out to the terrace into the sunshine and for a view of the Matterhorn with a glass of bubbly or drink of choice while the check-in was completed. Hotel manager Christian Eckart came by to welcome us personally. What a sophisticated way to greet guests. The central location of the hotel allows for access to everything you want to see in Zermatt. Staff was exceedingly accommodating. Our room had an amazing view of the Matterhorn and we enjoyed sitting on the balcony contemplating its majesty. The upgraded room we were provided was literally the size of an apartment and was just fantastic. Clean and comfortable, The complimentary bourbon in the rooms was a very nice touch. We drank all of ours -sorry Christian! We dont give out 5 stars very often. The Omnia deserved all of them.

    • Watching the sun set behind the Matterhorn from the hot tub

      Reviewed 24 September 2019

When we arrived at Zermatt by train, the courtesy pick-up was already waiting. Then, the drive in the hotel's electric van was a first highlight as we disappeared inside a tunnel underneath the hotel! What an entrance. We found it charming that the staff introduced themselves by first name. They still addressed us formally, but we felt more at ease knowing their names. The front desk was really helpful when I requested a millet pillow - I think they went out to buy one just for me. A definite highlight for my wife and I was watching the sun go down behind the Matterhorn while sitting in the hot tub!!! And Hauke Pohl's new gourmet menu... He's earned that Michelin star and we will return to the Omnia in a heartbeat.
