Stayed in this Hotel following a visit to Warwick Castle. From start to finish our stay was a total delight. The room was comfortable and nicely furnished and the staff welcoming and friendly. We had an evening meal in the on site restaurant which was great value for money. Breakfast was delicious. If you are visiting Warwick I would recommend this as a great place to stay

Parking was a little scary down a very narrow entrance but friendly staff soon got us parked up. Only one person working in the pub when we arrived mid afternoon and they were rushed off their feet serving at the bar so check in wasnt as smooth as it could of been. Lovely clean room and modern en-suite bathroom, decent coffee machine and comfy bed. Great quality cooked breakfasts and friendly staff. Check out could be improved as tried to charge us for the room and wed prepaid, somebody hadnt recorded it properly in the book but it was soon sorted. Would stay again

Booked last minute due to a fleeting visit to Warwick to pick up my new car. From the moment we arrived until we left we were treated like old friends or family and accommodated any request which was lovely. Shown to the pretty mews style cottages to the rear, each with its own external table and chairs - very cosy indeed. Comfy bed, special coffees, small flask of milk and complimentary water which are nice touches although pleasingly becoming the staple for most establishments. Stones throw from Warwick Castle this really is a perfect location to explore - no transport needed. We sat in the bar when we arrived and it was very popular with the locals - all friendly and chatty too despite us being strangers! Dogs welcomed in the bar which added to the family/friends relaxed environment to feel at home. Ate in the restaurant that night which we thought was good value, portions are on the large size and they kindly allowed me to have small portion (normal size to me!) of the roast beef with all the trimmings. Home made Yorkshire pudding - the gravy for me was a little too salty, thats just a personal taste thing. Garlic mushrooms to commence - nicely presented and more potent than you think until the next day! Ha haaa. My husband a creature of habit likes to sample a homemade gourmet burger and this one didnt fail to satisfy-thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you to the really helpful gentleman at dinner service who helped us with getting a good WiFi signal to ensure my car sale went smoothly. Thank you for providing more options than orange juice - being allergic Im pleased there were other options and the fresh fruit salad was delish! Lots of strawberries, blueberries and raspberries, honey and yogurt, my type of breakfast! Now being excited about the prospect of picking up my new car I couldnt eat much for breakfast. They kindly made my husband a bacon sandwich and some toast for me. Im funny with bread and toast - here the bread was very nice, not doughy AND!!! Properly toasted with colour to the bread! Thank you - most places let the bread dip in and out of the toaster with no colour and its more like stale bread than toast......not here!! Do all these little points make a place special and welcoming to make you want to return and that we will do too! Recommend, non pretentious excellent service and hospitality.
