Me and my sister stayed here for one night while we watched Bon Jovi. The location was great and not to far to get public transport into Liverpool Town centre. We also got a taxi back which was 16. On arrival, we were greeted by Sarah who was so welcoming and even offered lots of help in regards to getting to the stadium and places to eat. She even went as far as giving us her number incase we needed anything. The room was very big and clean. The beds were really comfy and came with all the basic amenities that you could need. I'd definitely stay again and the price can't be beaten!

Popped in for a drink with friends on Sunday. It was the day Liverpool were returning with the cup so maybe thats why it was quiet. The staff are welcoming and extremely polite and I will definitely have to say the pub is brightly decorated and ladies toilets are spotless They had a great local real ale on from Brimstage BreweryTrappers HatOnly one criticism! Please lose the horrible orange sign outside, its not doing you any favours. Will definitely call in again.

    • Nice staff, nice breakfast - too tired to eat it!

The staff were lovely and the rooms were fine. Great location too, less than a minute from the water. The only trouble was the room was sooooooo noisy! We stayed Friday and Saturday nights, which it turns out were the worst nights we could have chosen. Both nights there were acts on in the bar below and the music carried straight into the rooms until closing time. It's not even that we're hyper-sensitive to noise or anything but there's no way anyone could sleep during it. People should also note that you can't have an early breakfast as it doesn't start till 9am.

To start I have to say we are fussy guests and well read on....from the booking process to us checking out our stay was soo good.I had couple of questions before we arrived and Sarah responded instantly...upon arrival Sarah .promptly checked us in and had a couple of rooms to show us however when we seen the first room we were sold :-)deluxe room on the first floor was very spacious and the bed huge and super comfy ,the bathroom also very large(shower only) suited us..all the amenities were in the room which really made our stay that bit easier.we opted for room only so cant say anything about the food...when we made a request of extra bedding we had it within 2 I said great service from all making our stay very good ..I had read a review saying loud rooms at the front...NO not any complaints on that even though we stayed weekend and there was music on:-)overall I must say great time was had and we enjoyed it soo much we are already planning our stay their on our next visit..

    • Great affordable hotel

Me and my mate came to watch the liverpool game but was on a budget we found this hotel for only 45 which was the double room with a shared bathroom, the room was clean comes with an iron which was helpful and we was literally next door to the toilet, I was initially worried about the toilet but there was never any clashes with the other guests and it was constantly kept very clean. The staff were super friendly and very helpful helping us find a way to get to the match with train timings and such. It was in a nice area on the promenade with a Wetherspoons quite a few pubs and loads of places to get food. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the area.
