I was there with my wife in room 821 and, kindly, the receptionist gave me the room 5 hours in advance, at 7 am, when I arrived, instead at noon. The room, deluxe, was ok, the bathroom needs a carpet due easy slippery. The hotel if perfect, a little bit pricy for the indian rateswith a lot of taxes. There is a business room, once opened until 22pm, with password for connecting, but after my bad experience, where I was stopped by the employ, because it was 22,15, the day after, I called the manager, Mr Kanna, very professional and kindly man, who, immediatly, resolved the problem and now the computers in the business room is available all day long. Please cheque it, if you'll be there. Ivanromeo.

    • Amazing service and lovely hotel!

Had a fantastic stay at the Metropolitan Hotel in Delhi. Breakfast was great - lots of options to suit all my families different requests and requirements. We always had great service with a smile - especially at the omelette station. They also made us fresh puris, dosa and masala chai on request. The room service was awesome, with towel-art on the bed, complimentary biscuits and cakes in the room every day. A special thank you to Manoj Badola who looked after us and made sure we had everything we needed in our rooms. Great service from all staff. Thank you.

    • Very nice hotel

We stayed at the Metropolitan for 2 nights to start off our India trip. First off the accommodated early check in (thankyou) this was a great way to start the trip as we could freshen up before getting into it. All the staff we encountered were lovely. We had a driver but it was easy enough to get here. The room was nice, decent shower too which is always appreciated. Bar fridge was stocked with complimentary water also. The pool area outside looks beautiful unfortunately we didnt get to use it. Our room had a great view of the city. Upon check out we took our own bags downstairs as we needed to go to an ATM and get cash so we didnt want anyone assisting, unfortunately the bell boys insisted and it resulted in an uncomfortable situation where we were asked for money we didnt have and ended up having to pay a lot more. We did say no a few times. I know we are in another country but it can be a bit full on when everyone is asking for money and you have only just arrived. Other than that the gentleman at the door were fantastic it was only at check out we had the uncomfortable experience. I would stay here again 100% but I would make sure I had tipping money handy or make it very clear Im carrying my own bags.
