      I am a titanium member (highest level with Marriot). If the Liberty hotel in Boston was typical of my experiences at Marriott hotels, I would never stay at one of their hotels again! The hotel was dirty. My pillowcase was actually unwashed!! (During Covid?!?) the hallways had trash in them, and the bath water was brown. Super surprising since the hotel itself looks beautiful! I actually didnt make a fuss, but mentioned it to the manager, Athena, in the morning, and the worst part of the whole trip was how rude and disinterested she was with what I shared. She told me that the water is fine, its an old building and she has been living at the hotel and she bathes in it all the time. She also stated the hotel was clean when she left, and was completely uninterested in assisting me at all. Everybody can have a bad day, but this one was one for the books. I stay in hotel rooms over 150 nights a year. (Im also a lifetime Diamond member at Hilton). This was probably the worst experience Ive ever had at a Marriott. Im totally disappointed!

      Interesting building.Great lobby and public space. Room was small but with good quirky prison themed design touches. Excellent breakfast (pick up only as the COVID lock down had closed the restaurant) Would have been 4/5 or even 5/5 except that there was a significant communication failure that left us without food on the second night. I know the COVID lockdown was difficult for everyone, but this should not have happened. We were promised some rewards points to compensate, but these have not materialised. Sadly this is typical of Marriott these days.

      The location is good for shopping, there are many delicious foods around, especially Chinese restaurants. The hotel is decorated in a tonal, emotional atmosphere. The rooms are small, but very clean and tidy. Love how it used to be an old jail.

      Excellent stay. Apoor at the front desk was very welcoming and hospitable. Hotel was close to everything and also had a lot going on within the building. DJ in the lobby on Saturday night was laying down some wet hot stinky beats.

      Everything about this hotel was perfect from the moment I stepped in . The staff at the check in desk was professional and extremely helpful, especially Sylvia. Prior to the trip I had spoke to her on the phone about the whole virus situation and she did a great job reassuring me. Food at the restaurant was also outstanding, room is spotless and offer a great view of the city of Boston. Overall a bang for your buck!
