My previous visits to this place were fantastic, the service and the food were to a very high standard. However my most recent visit was such a let down. Both the service and food were truly lacking standard. The food was either over cooked or not cooked at all and unfortunately warm not hot. Vegetables were also very watery. I found the service was unorganised and there was very little communication going on between members of staff, because of this we overheard people being moved from their table as there was a reservation already made. They were taking orders of items off the menu that had sold out. I really hope this place can raise standards to what they once were, but in the meantime I would not recommend going here.

Stayed the other night for 1 night. Quaint little place. Very relaxed check in. Shown up to room by the boss. Very pleasant and informative. Room ok. Clean enough with everything you could want. Ensuite cosy and in need of a little spray of mould and mildew. But for one night fine. Breakfast next morning - food very good , service very pleasant, maybe a little slow if you were impatient. All in all fair value for money and good luck to the new owners. Hope they do well and can take the Bay onto another level in time. Small steps is the key.

We were bed and breakfast. Our room was kind of old fashioned but that was fine. Breakfast is great - good sized portions and could not be faulted. The staff are very friendly and keen for you to enjoy your stay. Nice, family atmosphere.
