    • First Class B&B

      Reviewed 23 June 2019

My husband and I stayed at The Heritage B&B to celebrate our anniversary back in March. The Heritage B&B is a fabulous building dating back hundreds of years which has been renovated to a very high standard. Kate greeted us with a huge smile on our arrival and showed us to our luxurious room which overlooked the garden. Our room was a good size and felt tranquil and elegant and was tastefully decorated. The bathroom was lovely with a good shower and I loved the fabulous 'glitzy' mirror over the sink. The complimentary White Company toiletries were a treat. You are right next door to a pub which served some good food and considering we were so close, you would never have guessed as there was absolutely no noise. Kate and Ian are a brilliant partnership and run a very slick B&B. They are very knowledgable about the area, of which there is so much to see and were kind enough to suggest a good local restaurant for our wedding anniversary. Breakfast at The Heritage was absolutely delicious; cereals and fruits, tea or coffee, followed by an amazing cooked breakfast. If you are thinking of visiting the area, staying at The Heritage is a must. Thank you for looking after us so well Kate and Ian. Please accept our apologies for this late review.

    • 4.5 star B&B with parking, welcoming owners, a short distance from Weymouth

      Reviewed 17 May 2019

We stayed one night at this B&B wanting to be just outside of Weymouth where parking would be convenient and easy. Our room was up a rather steep stairs in this old (1769!) building and was quite light and very clean. Although it faced the parking in front and there was a pub next door, it was quiet. Furnishings included a double bed with night table on one side and desk with chair on the other. We used the luggage rack for one rollerboard and the top of a second dresser for the other. The window seat was net to the tea fixings. Bathroom amenities included 2 large and 2 medium towels, liquid soap, towel warmer, and a shower cap. The bathroom was clean and clearly new. Wifi was good. We had a delicious English breakfast in their dining area the next morning. We would stay here again.
