    • Amazing stay at Bristol!

      I recently visited The Bristol Hotel, Gurugram and managed to stay there for two days. The hotel has such great staff who are so polite and courteous. They greet you so well and they are taking good initiatives for this COVID - 19. They ensure all guests are using the sanitizers. The property is the oldest 5-star hotel of Gurgaon and it has got the true essence of luxury and heritage. The rooms gives you a very good vibe. They have all the required amenities in the rooms. I managed to have breakfast and lunch in their restaurant , Palmyra which serves amazing dishes. They have a great breakfast buffet. Zaffran is another restaurant, where we can get the Mughlai cuisine authentically. Must say the dishes will make you want to eat more and more. They have got a great pool and a beautiful lawn. Loved my stay. Will definitely recommend this place to everyone. Good job team.

      Regular visitor at the bristol, as always had a great stay with extremely hospitable service. Special shootout to kalpana for being extremely hospitable and ensuring guests feel at ease. Will keep coming back

      The hotel premises is nice.The rooms are clean and tidy with good room services.The staff was good and the food was very good. Over all a good hospitality experience. Great going.. and looking forward to staying in the future.. Thanks

      Poor quality rooms built probably in the 1970s. Squeaking doors. Leaking water from taps in washrooms. Smelling bed sheets and covers. Poor room service. Even basic amenities not present in the room. Thermostat worked after calling house keeping 4-5 times. Not to forget, centuries old furniture. Only 1 key card can work at a time in one room, so if you are 2 occupants in one room, you are unlucky if both of you have to go to different places at the same time.

      Stayed at The Bristol Hotel for a 2-day conference booked from outside of India. Conference room was excellent: spacious, comfortable, excellent banqueting staff and service. AV system with screen and plasma TVs were good. Banqueting area by pool excellent. Reception and bar/restaurant staff helpful and friendly. Food in restaurant and bar was good. Problem was with my room which was tatty, shabby and uncomfortable. Bed was old, hard, uncomfortable mattress. Pillows under covers were covered with brown sweat stains from what looked like years of use from very many users. Sheets were greyed and although they looked laundered had marks or stains from long use. The room was cleaned daily but felt dirty and grubby. Bedside light was literally falling off the wall but fixed quickly by staff. The bathroom was tatty with the rack falling off the wall and rusty fixtures. I slept no more than 2-3 hours each night due to combination of the uncomfortable bed and the loud noise in the corridor in the early hours, chatting in next door room until middle of the night and mechanical vibration humming/buzzing noise that started at 2 am constantly for hours. Poor sound insulation from next door and corridor. This hotel is listed as 5 star but is certainly not 5 star by European or US standards. If a similar conference was held here again, I was definitely stay elsewhere. The hotel is well located for use of the excellent Delhi Metro so would be convenient for staying elsewhere.
