    • Nice but ridiculously hot

This is a lovely chalet hotel, convenient for the town, with a nice indoor pool, sun lounge area, outside chilling area and inside lounge. Rooms were clean and a good size too. My main issue was that we stayed during a heat wave and the rooms were uncomfortably hot - too hot for sleeping. I appreciate there is no air-con but supplying a fan would help. The pool and cold beer did help with cooling down after being out all day in the heat. The staff seemed friendly enough but didnt take to me leaving my bike on the patio (for half hour!). So not too bike(r) friendly! However, they did let me use the shower and pool after my last day of biking, despite being way after checkout.

We had a 3 night stay at Alte Neve. It is directly opposite a bus stop, which takes you up into town near the main ski lift out. But also is not too far to walk. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The evening meal was a set menu, French cuisine, very nice. Dessert buffet and cheese...yummy. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would stay there again.

Just returned from a five night stay. We found the staff to be really welcoming and friendly. This family owned hotel was spotlessly clean, bed was comfortable and room was a good size. Lovely balcony with great views. Breakfast was more than adequate for the price we paid. I would recommend for a comfortable, no frills, friendly hotel in beautiful Morzine.

    • Rude staff

Awful customer service and being tired is not an excuse. My husband and I were waiting for the lift when the staff member came out. We entered the lift and she also re-entered. As I went to press the floor number she slapped my hand away and shouted at me in French. Refused to serve our friend at the bar who came to join us in reception. Made rude comments in french when trying to pay by card (my sister-in-law is fluent french so understood every word) Shouted at my sister-in-law when her room key didn't work. Such a shame as the hotel itself is lovely and was ruined by one rude staff member. (Older lady, bobbed hair and glasses) Damn right rude.

    • Great hotel for a weekend on the slopes

A hotel in a good, quiet location. Not too far from town centre and ski lifts. Accommodation was fairly standard, but perfect for our small group keen on being on the slopes more than in a hotel. What really made our stay there good was the staff - really welcoming and helpful with every request we made.
