      I usual travel for business, and I visit a lot of hotels. After staying at the Taj Santacrux in Mumbai , I just would like to say a few words about this fantastic experience: an amazing restaurant location combined with an impeccable service. Not to say that Chef Johny Dabre was able to make me taste its unique cuisine. Thanks to it magical atmosphere, professional service of all the staff, and to its exquisite food, Taj Santacrux was for me an unforgettable experience.

      It was great to be back and feel welcomed again by the friendly staff all over the place. Wasn't a let down in any respect and its something one comes to expect when staying at the Taj properties, I guess. As usual the team at Tiqri were exceptional and ever willing to oblige. In particular Chef Johny Dabre & Kamlesh from the kitchen and Uday, Vijay K, Rubin G, Neha & Bhakti on the floor. Last but not least thanks to Yogita and Yogesh for doing up the room.

      Excellent rooms. Good housekeeping. Good food.good front desk. Poor service at restaurants even if not many tables are occupied. Taj culture missing at breakfast service. Service does not have an edge but it looks like ordinary four star hotel at breakfast service. Otherwise food quality and variety is nice. Perhaps seems that restaurant staff is not much experienced in taj culture.

      Most satisfying stay, rooms and overall ambiance was wonderful, food quality superb. Service staff at all position were very helpful and pleasant. Located at just within airport premises. Overall excellent stay.

      CONS: FOOD Appetizers: -Stale paper cabbage garnish looked like trash. Main Course: -Two cold cardboard "naan" pieces, flavorless. (Requested "naan" be heated; then served some other naan). -"Malai Kofta": Disgusting. "The contents of a soiled diaper". Cream sauce diarrhea with vomit inducing lumps. Head waiter on staff said, "You should have told me before" (Typical Indian line). No courtesy to take dish off bill. SERVICE/STAFF Condescending & Disrespectful. -Bus boy mopping floor an hour into dinner with disgusting mop bucket slamming into table. A public bathroom not "5 Star Hotel". When told, waiter says,"Sorry, he's new" (textbook Indian line to evade responsibility). Shameless vulgarity trickle down from top. -Head waiter: sadistic & smug. -Half hour wait between appetizer & main course + half hour post dinner for eye contact. -Courses changed, no cutlery. -Not asked for dessert. -Not asked for bill. -Indian group seated, arrived after us, finished dining after us,served water bowl & after mint; we're offered neither. (Two tables seated/6 useless staff). -Workers came in & out through guest door with nasty flip flops, street clothes (no uniform). -Waiter removed vest in restaurant. -Attitude: they're doing you a favor to pay for vomit food and rudeness. HYGIENE 2* Indian CONCLUSION: Scam. NOTE: Refund due for torment and agony. Don't bother with generic: "We've taken your feedback seriously, give us another chance, it will be different next time...", copy + paste b.s.
