I was staying in Delhi at the Taj palace I arrived from Jaipur on a bus having traveled for several hour unwell I dont recall a great deal only that I awoke in Delhi hospital, but I recall a wonderful young woman who bathed me and called a doctor and got me safely to hospital Charvi went above and beyond any duty and held my hand all the way she was truly like an angel in a dark place, I can never express how thankful I am for meeting her. The hotel were outstanding in helping my husband and I as we were forced to stay several days over. I have stayed in hotels all over the world and I have never felt so genuinely cared for like I did at my lowest point in Delhi, it is a beautiful city filled with beautiful people inside and out. I wish Charvi all the luck in the world for her future and I hope she gets the recognition she deserves from the superiors at work they are truly blessed to have such an amazing young woman working for them Thank you Charvi and all your associates at the Taj for helping me so much. I stayed here for 1 night in room #531. Check in was nice and easy and the staff seemed friendly. The room allocated to me os nice and cosy and nicely maintained. However the f&b outlet capital kitchen seemed very casual and insulting. I walked it sat at a table wait for 7 minutes not a single person in the restaurant gave me a glass of water , why ? Because I was alone ? Or maybe because you all just don't care . Again in the morning at breakfast I'm waiting for 10 minutes No one cared to ask for tea or coffee. Your staff busy serving foreigners and other people who are sitting in groups. Again this is happening what happened 3 years ago. It's a shame ! Like i said guests like us don't matter. Last night the same was told to the on duty manager and he had such a careless attitude as if i was wrong in everything and I'm stupid. The tv in my room wasn't working the engineering team came and fixed it but almost knocked down the speakers . Kapil from the front desk was there in the room at the time but not a single word of apologies from the on duty manager who was making me look like a fool. I would like to see his face now. I know one this for a certain fact that guests like me who are not at all important to you , our feedbacks will and never are considered.

Great Hotel in the heart of New Delhi but felt not a place for solo! Great entrance and std of room is as expected of a 5 star hotel. Went to their Capital Kitchen for a buffet meal as wanted to experience different cuisine. Staff was unsure as they had a group booking! why does it matter? Anyway I was sitted and offered the usual. Lady recommended sula wine which was great. Being a buffet meal, asked for Peshawari naan but kind of told that will take a while as it will need to be made specially so ended up with plain naan - which was made too!! Overall service was great and good choice of buffet. p.s. glass of wine- was more than half empty

Stayed here 3x during 2 week India visit. Stunning entrance with large marble staircase, beautiful floral displays throughout. Gorgeous hotel. Great buffet style eatery with lots of choice. Pool and spa area excellent. Only Minus is Blue bar rather dimly lit, and found out about Happy Hour only on 3rd visit - this should be advertised fact rather than hidden please, as drinks expensively priced).
