    • Very disappointing! Wedding staff very rude.

I have been meaning to write this review for some time but have been so busy since our wedding. Lets start with the positives! The hotel/setting is really lovely and all the hotel staff were so polite and couldnt do enough for us. However the wedding coordinator does not represent the high standard you receive elsewhere in the hotel and what you would expect at St Pierre. Please think before you book a wedding here, as although we had a lovely day, the stress before because of how unhelpful, rude, and obnoxious Chloe was, made our whole experience very disappointing.

    • Never have I received better service at a hotel

I cannot praise the staff and service at this hotel enough and it is to my shame that it has taken me so long to write this review. The hotel is in a stunning location and there is a range of rooms but you will not find a bad one. Although Marriott owned, it does not have that corporate feel and certainly I have never received such good service in other Marriott hotels. We arrived at the hotel having travelled for 24 hours from Borneo. We arrived at 9:30 in the morning, check out time, the reception team were busy we were absolutely exhausted. We had already been told that there may not be a room available but we were desperate for some sleep before playing golf with friends in the afternoon. The team quickly found us a room, upgraded us and made sure we were not disturbed - how fantastic is that. Furthermore throughout our stay the team were attentive and fantastically efficient. Thank-you we had a great stay

I have stayed in Marriott hotels most of my business life .. life gold and currently titanium ... hotels are consistent in service rooms etc, but the one thing that has gone down hill in all hotels and tonights is Chepstow St. Pierre is the cast iron grill food... Marriott same food every hotel and todays disappointment was a main meal of fish chowder... well main course it was not 6 skillet which was only fit for some side dish and not half filled ... it tasted ok but just felt like you needed three of them to make a course ... Im sorry but I try and avoid eating anymore at Marriott as the quality is poor and sorry St Pierre you did not restore any faith.

Lovely grounds with a chapel and old building. We stayed in a little village in a suite. It was upstairs though so you need to check if you have mobility issues. Total value for money a whole suite a bit dated but we were happy with it for the price we paid. We had breakfast and dinner in the room as we had a dining table it was really enjoyable. Theres a balcony too.
