      Our room was clean. Breakfast was good as long as you got there early (Labor Day weekend and they were short-staffed). Kitchen employee Deby Pink was very sweet and helpful to my elderly mother. The drive to the oceanfront was not too far, about 20-25 minutes.

      Stayed four nights in August with my family. Breakfast was normal for this type of property: eggs, cereal, waffles and the like. The room was spacious. Very clean property. The gym is very basic but enough for a descent workout. Lots of families stay here. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. Would recommend.

      We spent several nights here as we attended my sons graduation at Regent University. It is a great location and has shopping and great restaurants close by. Our stay started out great. Everything was very clean and just right. Then each day it got a little less. Room was not cleaned well. One day not all of the towels were replaced and the shampoos I rely on were not replaced several days The final straw was the day I came back to the room to get something, the door was scotched open with the safety lock and no worker was in sight anywhere on the floor. Anyone could have walked in. The front desk was kind but clear they didnt care or were going to do anything.

      We used the conference room here and it was wonderful!! Teresa and her team - did a great job setting up our room and making some very minor changes. They would not let us do anything. She made sure it was up to our liking. Shelly, Raven and Terry were awesome in the logistics and planning. We could not have asked for a better staff of employees to accommodate our business meeting! Everyone was very pleased!

      This is one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. The first full day of our stay, we had our DND sign on the door while we stepped out to breakfast for 45 mins... Staff did not clean the room. Was told they go around and at 8am and any DND signs on the doors they do not clean. Hmm we left our room at 8:30 returned at 9:15 and there were no carts at all in the hall, so not sure how this happened. There was syrup in the phone so I insisted they come up and clean and they would have missed it if I had not told them to do so. Second day of our stay we were gone the entire day returned back and the room was so hot, hotter than the last 2 days. Thermostat stated 65 that was not possible we would have been freezing. So we received a fan to cool the room off was told they would check back,yeah that never happened. Felt like I was on a camping trip! Wanted to talk to a manager about the issues on check of course they don't start till 9am and then when you call back they seem to be in meetings every time. I was told they contacted me and offered a discount which is not true never received a call. Also for some reason if the hotel is full they will automatically charge your room for 1 night. Not sure why, this is not Marriott's policy but it is for this hotel. And to top this the 2 other nights was to be divided between to credit cards, surprise they were given 2 cards but swiped the same one both times. I'll leave you to think what you will but this is very poor and lazy service by all involved from check in to check out.
