    • Great for families

      Reviewed 03 October 2019

We booked two units- one 2-bedroom and another 1-bedroom. Very comfortable beds (we even got a crib for our baby), daily housekeeping and suitable for families. Buffet breakfast is provided but mainly Chinese cuisine. There is a pool and children play group as part of their facilities. However, you have to wear a swim cap in order to use the pool. The hotel is situated next to a mall with many restaurant options. The only downside is the walk to the subway station. Overall, highly recommend!

    • Nice Hotel, but Needs Room for Improvement

      Reviewed 14 September 2019

The hotel is fabulous looking and there are some nice amenities to staying here. Our room featured a washer/dryer unit with laundry detergent provided. Never experienced that in a hotel. It's also located next to a shopping mall and other surrounding things to do if you want to explore. The cons for me was my shower door didn't fully close, causing extra water leakage during showers; the breakfast buffet was pretty basic, and the language barrier is pretty strong. There weren't many Westerners around during our stay and had our guide not been with us, our time there would've been more challenging.

    • Great in some ways, not so great in others

The good: Although not very central our room here was great, we were able to check in early and were given a late checkout. The room was huge, clean and modern with 2 big bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and a good kitchen. Plus it had a washer dryer in the room that was a great bonus. The restaurant manager was really helpful and offered great tips about where to go in the city during our short stay. There was a good gym, kids games room - and although it was being repaired during our stay - the pool looked great too. The bad: firstly it was quite hard to find - I was initially taken to the wrong hotel and it was hard for drivers to find even with the address written in Chinese. The Lobby was on the 4th floor - and strangely there is a maternity hospital sharing the building and some of the floors. Breakfast was also quite average. The worst part however was on checkout - we were departing on a train from the Xian north station which was a long drive away. We were told that 2 taxis would be booked for us however after 40 minutes of waiting, trying to hail cabs in the rain it became a panic when reception staff realised it was the time that drivers changed their shifts. A man from the hotel went to get his car and took us to a metro station to get the subway to the station - with our family of 4 carrying our suitcases on our laps. However the language barrier was a problem and we ended up in a car park somewhere, no maps or any real idea how to get to the correct stop. We ended up making our train, but it was scary and frustrating as wed been told that the transport was booked for us and that they were unfamiliar with the taxi system.

Very good place to stay in Xi'an forse a business trip. Not so far from the downtown and from the underground station. Apartments big, comfortable and very very clean. Excellent the gym and the swimming pool at the 27th floor

    • One of the best hotels I've stayed at in 20+ trips to China

My room was a suite with bedroom, sitting room and kitchen. Everything was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and well appointed. Bathroom had a separate tub and shower, both amply sized. A combo washer / dryer unit in the kitchen was a very pleasant and welcome surprise. Breakfast was very good. The lobby is on the fourth floor; you need to know that or you might go into the building and think you are in the wrong place. (We did.) I did not have time or opportunity to use the pool / gym. Very convenient to the Xi'an Conservatory of Music.
