I really enjoyed the accomodations at the Shilo. This establishment was well kept. The only thing I was not happy with was the new breakfast area. I hope they continue to improve the variety and add protein. Sausage flavored gravy is not a protein. Thank you for all else.

I miss when hotel rooms were all this size! Older hotel, but very clean from what I saw. Our 2 queen room was very large and spacious. Comfortable beds, slept great. My only negative was the breakfast. Not the best free breakfast but not the worst. Mini burritos, egg circles folded in half with cheese, yogurt, biscuits and gravy, apples and oranges, pancake rolling machine... we ended up going to black bear diner on day 2. I was overall very pleased with our stay.

Very comfortable. The rooms are suites with a lot of room. Extremely quiet with furnishings that appeared to be newly remodeled. The restaurant was not open for dinner but the hotel was very nice and we will stay again.

We stayed at the hotel from 8/2 to 8/5/2019 while I was in town for my high school reunion (Go Pelicans!). It was a good stay and a few minor changes would allow me to give a 4-star rating to this property. The good: The hotel offered us a pleasant stay with large, well-kept, comfortable rooms equipped with mini-fridge, microwave and a small sink in the kitchenette. There was plenty of storage space and a decent view of Klamath Lake beyond the highway. The beds were comfortable. We used the pool and the hot tub twice, both were fine. There are fast food joints within walking distance, as well as Applebees and Abby's Pizza. The hotel is a convenient and easy base from which to explore the Klamath Basin. It is near Sky Lakes Medical Center, so would be convenient if you knew someone who was hospitalized and needed to visit. The less good: The front desk staff is completely lackluster. They seemed bored and are not overly nice, friendly, or welcoming. This was disappointing since these are essential customer service qualities that could be easily addressed with some staff coaching! We also had to ask twice for fresh pool towels when they ran out. Breakfast. The website for the hotel doesn't list a complimentary breakfast as an amenity. The Staff never mentioned a complimentary breakfast upon check-in. My daughter called the restaurant to ask about dinner after looking at the restaurant's website and reading they served breakfast, lunch, and dinner. She was told they served breakfast only, but once again, there was no mention of the complimentary breakfast. It was only when I overheard another guest ask that I found there was, in fact, a complimentary breakfast. At least we were able to dine there on the day we left, though it was only mediocre so we hadn't missed much. To be fair, this breakfast was on par with similar offerings at competing hotels, but that's another story. It is on us for not specifically asking upon check-in, but this would be useful info to pass on to guests! I had forgotten my deodorant, and was able to get some at the front desk, but had to pay $1.00, which seems petty given we spent about $380 (incl. tax) for a three night stay. In summary ,the hotel is a good property but by offering better customer service and communications, they could easily provide a better overall experience.

Stayed one night with kids & dog on our way home through Klamath Falls - impressed with the property. Appreciated the front desk staff from my initial call to make reservations about an hour outside town (thanks, Alisha!), to the easy check-in, as well as the night desk quickly handling our request for extra towels & pillows. Room spacious and clean, bed comfortable, strong WiFi, good price/value. Well be back!
