This place is an absolute shambles of a hotel! The people working there are useless naming one in particular is HARRI!!! His customer service is horrendous, he had no shoes on at all and said to us he was tired and hungover! His manner on the phone is no better! No onsite parking in the accommodation we were promised. 100 cash deposit had gone from the building within 10 minutes of us returning to get it back! Management are NEVER there!! Still fighting to get money back a month later!

We stayed at glasgow airport holiday home which is part of the Scotia Hotel. I was asked by the hotel to pay 100 deposit before they would give me the keys to the holiday home. 17 days later and after numerous emails and phone calls the management refuse to acknowledge me and give me my 100 back. Please, please do not have anything to do with this hotel or properties they own. No doubt they will answer this review with some fictional story. DO NOT BE FOOLED

    • Looks nice at first glance, but...

Don't look to closely or you'll be grossed out. At first glance it looks nice, big rooms, huge windows, etc., but it's not clean. My sister's bed had "something" on the sheets, the curtains had some sort of stain on them, the walls were dirty and you could see the dirt in the carpet. The breakfast option was a joke. The juice carton said the juice expired in March, we stayed the end of July, the cooked breakfast was made by the same person who was working the front desk and cleaning rooms and she said she had never made an omelette before. My mom ordered the omelette with tomatoes and mushrooms, which was one of the options on the menu. She got scrambled eggs and later got a plate of cooked mushrooms and tomatoes. The cook said she didn't know how to make an omelette. They were completely out of coffee as well. The staff where dressed sloppily in street clothes. The only reason that I didn't give it just one star was that the staff was friendly and tried to be helpful. Bottom line, spend a little more and stay somewhere else.

This place is in a sketchy area. They couldn't find our reservation at first, the lady said that the system is difficult to use. Then they wanted us to pay when we had prepaid. Good thing I had a print out of the reservation and confirmation of payment. The room was filthy. If you wanted to know the last time it was dusted and wiped down you would have to do carbon dating. At least the bathroom was clean. The beds were ok but the pillows were completely flat. It is not that close to the airport as the booking site leads you to believe. Count on a cab ride that will cost you around 8 gbp. It was not that expensive so if you are looking to save some money I guess it would do in a pinch. We had selected it thinking that it was very close to the airport
