    • Wonderful B&B

We stayed here while touring Ireland and were very happy with the B&B. We were greeted warmly and helped with taking our bags up to our room. The shower was a real shower, not a converted tub, with a hand-held nozzle as well which I particularly like. The bed was the most comfortable bed in our stay of over 2 weeks! Great breakfast, typical cold spread and then order what you want from the hot breakfast choices. The typical Irish breakfast is too much food for me but I just ask for what I want. There is parking off street but we simply parked on the street by Rose Park House and it was fine. It is very easy to then get either downtown, or to get back on the road headwind out. I would stay again.

Tom, Greta and Veronica were excellent hosts. Staying here feels like you are staying in your family home. We chatted with the host and guests quite a lot. Food was excellent. We had the downstairs bedroom which was comfortable with our own small but clean bathroom. My daughters room upstairs was clean but very small. Tom was kind enough to give directions, restaurant suggestions and even drove us down to the Guild Hall to meet a tour guide. The home is right across from beautiful Brook Park. We enjoyed our stay here very much.

    • Wonderful place to stay in Derry!

Rose Park is a very comfortable, lovely little B&B. Staying with Da Thomas and Ma Mary is like being with family! They cook you a wonderful Irish breakfast each morning. The location is very convenient to the city. Just a short walk downhill through the park in front of the B&B and you're there in about 10 minutes (you may want to cab it back up though, especially after drinking a couple of pints, as the hills are quite steep!). Thomas is a wealth of information for Northern Ireland. Tremendous value for the amount they charge. (Note: there are stairs to get to the rooms).

We stayed 16 nights in Ireland and this place was one of our highlights. Very homely with all the creature comforts. Thomas was an excellent host from the get go, helping to carry our bags to the room, giving us an historical overview of Derry and offering us tea and coffee and any helpful advice on what to see. When we were due to leave one of my earrings inadvertently got dropped behind a heating panel. Thomas helped us for over an hour to get it out of a small crevice and wouldnt give up even when we had, his help and kindness was exceptional. If you want a friendly, helpful, safe, homely, clean place to stay in Derry then look no further.

I stayed here for 2 nights with my teenagers. Mary was lovely - friendly, welcoming and offered great advice. Thomas was a wealth of information about the history of the troubles. He patiently explained the nuances that often get buried in stereotypes . Daisy brought a smile to our faces each morning. Comfortable and convenient - I highly recommend this B&B!
