My husband & I have stayed here numerous times since Jan 2019 because he has been a cancer patient at the Emory campus nearby. The staff went out of their way to check on us after his surgery and made sure we didnt need anything. They are super friendly and even remember us each time we are up in Atlanta for an appointment. They ask about how his recovery is going each visit.

You can tell by the consistent lack of ownership in the poor reviews of this location that is poorly ran. The first room I was given- the A/C did not work (mind you this is summer in Atlanta with 95 degree temps). They relocated me, then proceed not once, but twice to give a key to an individual to my room. If I did not have the deadbolt on, they could've come right in and taken everything of mine. Who knows how many patrons entered when I wasn't in the room. Front desk just told me that the manager isn't in and took no ownership. Tons of debris and trash in the corners of the room as if it hasn't been properly vacuumed in months. There's lot of other options to stay in the area, I recommend you strongly consider another location than Hyatt Place Perimeter.

ReviewedI evacuated on Monday 9/2/19 due to Hurricane Dorian. With dog in tow and a need to be able to work from the hotel, I chose Hyatt Place. I was pleasantly surprised. The room was nice and conveniently on the first floor, perfect for taking the dog out. I thought I might hear the highway traffic as an interstate is right behind the hotel, but it wasn't an issue. I worked from the room without any problem. Staff were super nice, free breakfast(with free sign up) was really good with plenty of healthy options. I also ordered a couple of meals and these were also delicious. Overall a really pleasant 4 days. I would stay here again even without the threat of a hurricane.

When I checked in, hotel staff member put me in the other Asian's room even though they checked my ID and credit card. My name is HyungBin Kim and Hotel staff member checked my name in the ID clearly, but I got in Jiang, Lin's room. I found this through my cell phone app because it says I didn't check in yet. I will try to avoid booking this place if I need to stay in Atlanta area

We stayed for 3 nights to visit Botanical Garden, World of Coca Cola and around Atlanta. The distance to those places around 15 -20 minutes driving from this hotel. The room is average size, AC is cold, bed is comfy enough, but we saw dirty stain on the the sofa, refrigerator doesn't work, hair blow dryer broke and no microwave. Toilet is too close to the bathroom door. Hot breakfast is good enough, coffee is so so. Overall, they could be better with that kind of price.
