very nice stay during this pandemic
Reviewedstayed at Renaissance Seattle this weekend (Jan, 2021. just checked out today!) as a staycation. check in was smooth - I did not receive any complimentary upgrade as Marriott platinum but I did not really need one so it was okay. I was able to check in early, around 1pm, which I appreciated a lot. There was no amenity to enjoy (no gym, no club lounge) due to the pandemic, which I was aware of prior to check in. The room was spacious and the bed was comfy. I loved Aveda toiletry that they provided. Parking was very convenient with multiple in-and-out privilege. Overall I did enjoy my stay at Renaissance Seattle a lot. I hope to visit again when I can enjoy some of its amenities.
celee11They go the extra mile
ReviewedI've been staying at the hotel a few times a month since the start of the pandemic. The staff goes out of their way to keep you safe, and is a great resource on the ever changing local restrictions on dining, shopping, etc.
T GGreat Marriott Experience in a much more quaint style
ReviewedThe staff was great at this hotel!. The location was quiet but also in perfect distance to all the restaurants I wanted to visit and spots to visit. There is street parking on Sundays and at night (I dont stay in the room so this was perfect for my stay. The hotel informed me of the COVID precautions, and they did a great job. Lounge was closed, gym was closed, ... disappointed a bit but it is Seattle and you are steps away from AWESOME food, beer and an easy to find running trail along the water.
roberteI955ITGreat place; even during difficult times!
ReviewedPerfect! From housekeeping to the food ... perfect! Chose not to cancel our vacation during this virus-crazy time. The hotel responded perfectly with compassionate, safety-oriented and responsive service. No buffet but substituted breakfast; house keeping tolled in extra cleaning services; and all staff kept a positive, future-thinking mindset. Sometimes only through tragedy do you see the best in people and the entire hotel and staff was a beacon of a better tomorrow. Thank you for hosting us!
valcarcejimGood stay
ReviewedI'm not so sure I like the hotel rooms. We chose this because of the Marriott points and even though we're Elite Status and were in a larger room they seem a little dated. It was impossible to figure out how to turn the lights on. We came in at night and I literally couldn't see well enough to figure out the lights next to the bed! The view of the freeway was just awful and luckily it wasn't too noisy. However, the actual property is nice. We had a few drinks in the bar (about $10 per drink) and sat in the corner by the fireplace to relax a bit. The staff is very accomodating. Parking is $45. I don't know that I would stay again.
