This hotel is very convenient to O'Hare and while fairly typical for a corporate hotel, it was nice. I had dinner at the Urban Grill and enjoyed it - and Nawal was a great server. I would return if in the area.

I often travel to Chiago for work and stay at the Renaissance OHare. The RBar has a good atmosphere with music and food. Milena is a friendly, knowledgeable bar tender- she always makes my visits pleasant!

Our connecting flight at OHare was cancelled due to weather, so we booked a room at this hotel. They have a shuttle bus that picks you up at OHare and brings you right to the hotel. We arrived at the hotel at 10:30 p.m. and we had not had anything to eat for over 10 hours. We were greeted at the front desk by Kristina. This young lady went above and beyond to not only check us in in a friendly and welcoming manner, but she went further. She looked into finding us a list of local restaurants that were still open and able to deliver food at that time of night ( the hotels restaurants were closed). She also offered us the option of helping ourselves to anything we wished from the kitchenette located next to the front desk, featuring drinks, sandwiches and snacks. She then provided us with four bottles of water for our room. She was truly a smiling, friendly, welcoming, face after a long day. The hotel itself is lovely. The rooms are all 2 room suites with a large shower. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel was in excellent shape and very clean. The room was quiet and peaceful. We also had a drink at the lobby bar and that was nice as well. This is an excellent hotel and we had a lovely stay. I highly recommend this property. Thanks to Kristina for doing a wonderful job.

After a horrible experience at the airport after missing a transfer, it was so refreshing to receive great customer service during check in, late on 28th Sept. I really appreciated the sincere effort to make my day just a little bit better.

    • It was very nice until we were checking out

Our stay was very pleasant except the check out. What happened: when we arrived to the front desk there was no one to talk to ...after a few minutes Dalia ,the front desk manager arrived but she did not acknowledge us neither asked if she can help us, very disappointing. She was busy talking to her coworker. I thought the guests come first. After I asked her to help us she finally turned to us and took our keys back and gave us the final recipe. Overall all employees who I interacted during check in and during our short stay seams not happy to be there except the gentleman at the front door who asked me if he can help with my luggage during check in. The entire hotel's interior design looked like brand new. I liked the wall papers, the carpet looked like was very fresh and clean also the front hallway fireplace very dramatic view. I just wish to have more time to enjoy the bar and the restaurant. Otherwise our room was large , nice and clean. The bed was very comfortable and relaxing, the sheets on our bed were clean . The bathroom was large with very spacious shower, we had enough clean towels in the room. We had just one bottle of water in the room for two people, it was nice to have a small refrigerator in the room. The Bonvoy Marriott app is actually behind and late with responds. An hour after I checked in I got a message on the app that my room was ready for check in. You need to work to figure out how to get the updates to the client's account on the app faster. I think the fee for the parking was too expensive especially for the Marriott members.
