    • Very nice for the price!

My wife and I stayed here one night on our trip home to Georgia. Considering we stayed at the days inn around the corner in a smoke smelling room, I was worried about staying in Tupelo again. However, this place blows the days inn out of the water. The room was very clean and clean smelling. The bathroom was clean and tidy. The beds were fairly comfortable and the pillows were fluffy and not compacted like pancakes. The shutters on the windows made the room nice and dark from the street lights and the sun in the morning. The breakfast area was very large and there was a decent selection of food and beverages to choose from. We didn't get to try the pool area, but it did look clean and well kept from the looks of it. The only gripe we had was the fact of some young, sketchy looking people hanging around the lobby and stairwell close to our room. They were having some drinks and just kind of in the way. One of them looked to be kind of doped up, not really making any sense as he tried to talk to us. We did our best to ignore him, yet he seemed to follow us from the lobby to where our room was. It made us kind of nervous, especially since we were traveling with our four month old son, but gladly nothing further happend with him once we were in our room for the night. We would definately stay here again as everything was clean and decently priced.

    • Filthy, smoke smelling room

      Reviewed 21 July 2019

We chose this hotel based on the fact it was pet friendly and the pictures showed it was an updated and clean hotel. Not the case at all. We got in late and were so ready to shower and get in bed. Even though the entire property is smoke free the room smelled like a smoking room. The floors were filthy. We had to rewash our feet and wear shoes. Dust on the furniture and the bathroom vent was covered in dust and mold. A random open wire cord stuck out from under the a/c unit. All these issues made us unable to relax and enjoy our stay. Upon checkout I shared our concerns so that the next guest may have a better experience. All I got was "You should have told us last night so we could have moved you". I don't think that I as the customer should have to move rooms. The rooms should be cleaned thoroughly between guests. Very disappointed. The quality of this room should make it a $40-$50 room and not a $75 room.

Me and my husband travel a lot. This Red Roof was the best one so far. Clean, modern room, quiet place with small nice pool. Has Tesla chargers! Good breakfast, nice breakfast area. Computer available for guest in guests area. Cheap, excellent.

    • One of the best cheaper motels

I have just had a motorcycle tour around the southern United States, stopping at several cheaper priced motel chains. This was the best by far. The place was clean and had all the amenities we wanted.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We The room was listed as handicap accessible. It was a large room but the amount of and location of the furniture made it difficult to get around in the room in a wheel chair. The furniture was scrapped and nicked due to it being bumped by wheelchairs. The bath was large. There was a roll in shower but the arrangement of the shower head and handles was awkward and not easy to use. The handicap parking space could have been closer to the room. It was raining the day we arrived. The base of the ramp to get on the sidewalk from the parking lot was about an inch or two deep in water.
