Stayed 4 nights, really welcoming friendly hotel 10-15 mins walk from historic centre-port area. Cannot recommend highly enough. Great breakfasts, efficient service, and recognition at the front desk. Tea and coffee in the room is replenished everyday. Cannot comment on spa facilities as we did not use. Plenty of bars - restaurants within 5-10 mins walk. Ample free parking though we spent 3 days cycling the area with excellent local company a bycyclette. Vannes is a beautiful town with medieval buildings but also a vibrant local cultural life. We felt it was super friendly everywhere we went. Gulf of morbihan visit a must - the islands are pretty unique.

We were booked in for three nights. The room was clean and tidy as was the bathroom, although the WC positioning made for an interesting visit. Reception was very helpful with recommendations for dining and also booking a Morbihan Gulf boat trip. Audrey being the lady here. Breakfast was buffet style with a comprehensive selection. There is no restaurant and the bar shuts around 10pm, but you would know that when booking and the town has more than enough dining places catering for all ethnic styles. A very welcome bonus was the large, secure and free car-park, this was especially appreciated by our group of sports-car owners. Within a ten minute walk we were in the historic town centre. Take a petit bus ride to get the history - over ten different translations available on the headphones.

We liked this rather modest, yet comfortable enough hotel, just 10 minutes walk from the harbour and old town (which is wonderful). It is situated in a seemingly rough'ish area, but we encountered no problems to and froing to the town. Plenty of secure parking and clean, cosy room - English TV channels - exceptionally friendly and helpful staff - very good cheap breakfast recommended !

We spent two nights at this hotel from 29 Aug to 31 August 2018. It was easy to find, despite being on a one-way street. The reception area was fairly standard but spacious and very clean. The staff were pleasant and helpful and spoke reasonable or good English. Access to all floors by lift was possible, but the lift is tiny: two people plus one suitcase and two backpacks made it feel very crowded! Our room (106) was on the 1st floor rear, and so was quiet. The only drawback was that the room was relatively small; the main room door opened so as almost to touch the bathroom door and there was a small clothes hanging space in this tiny lobby, but we had to put our suitcases on the floor and there were no drawers, though that didn't matter because of our short stay. We had to enter the room one-at-a-time -- difficult with a heavy door -- and leave the same way because of the restricted space in the lobby. Thus access might be difficult for the less mobile guest. The bed was firm and comfortable, and a good quality fan was provided as it was quite warm during our stay. The shower was a very good one, of reasonable dimensions and access. The help-yourself breakfast was very good, with choice of breads and pastries, a toaster, boiled eggs (there was an egg boiler to boil your own to taste), scrambled eggs, sausages (two kinds) and bacon, plus fresh fruit and fruit juices. There is a small supermarket on the opposite side of the road for anything else. It was an easy walk from the hotel into the old centre of Vannes. We did not make any use of the spa facilities, so cannot comment on them. All in all we were very pleased with the hotel and would stay again.

A fairly basic hotel, rooms clean and tidy, and a short walk to the old town. Secure and free car park. English speaking reception. Quite adequate for a stop -over. Short walk to good restaurants. Happy to use again in the future.
