    • Should not be permitted to use "Quality" in their name

I realize that "quality" at different Quality Inns can vary. I'll be very honest: this property is not good. It is an old, old motor inn that has received a new coat of paint (sloppily applied). There's not even a permanent sign identifying the property; just a vinyl Quality Inn banner roped to the front of the building. The lobby has been updated, but otherwise this is a tired motel. We have been quite loyal to Choice Hotels, just completing a two-week drive across the west that had us staying at their properties each night in a different city. This one was very much a disappointment.

The outside pool was beautiful. The room was clean and comfortable with nice amenities. The staff were nice. The hotel was really good for the price. The breakfast was good, but could have had more fruit. NO ELEVATOR.

Hotel was good for the price. Our room was spacious and clean. We had a wonderful view of the beautiful outdoor pool. The breakfast was nice with a large dining room. There were no elevators which wasn't ideal.

Spacious and clean room. It was missing some pictures on the wall to give it some color. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. The pool should open earlier in the morning. It opens at 10:00 am and check out is at 11:00. Would stay at this hotel again.

    • Good night's rest in a Charming Town!

I stayed one night at this Quality Inn, off Interstate I-25. The hotel was one of the first hotels by the interstate and is easy to find. Plenty of space on the lot for larger vehicles and camping trailers. The next day I had to head east on Interstate I-90, and the interchange was just north of town. Buffalo is about halfway between Yellowstone National Park and Mount Rushmore. Great little town to stop for the night. You can visit Bighorn National Forest and Yellowstone National Park from this hotel in Buffalo. Cloud Peak Scenic Byway (US 16) is a nice road to travel on. The town of Buffalo was quaint, and had the Old Western Charm. People in shops and restaurants were all very friendly. The Quality Inn had a gas station next door, which was convenient to fill up gas and get snacks for the next day's road trip. The main street that the hotel was on, had several dining options. There's even a Mexican restaurant attached to the hotel, if you just want to walk from your room, after a long day on the road. The room I was in was large, well furnished, and had a microwave and refrigerator. It was clean and quiet, and I got a good night's rest. It had a view of the outdoor pool. The fitness center was also a plus. Staff was courteous and friendly, and in the morning there was a nice hot breakfast with good coffee. There is a nice seating area in the lobby, if you are in a group and want to meet up. I had no need for a meeting room or conference space, but the front desk told me they had these available for rent. If I ever pass through this area again, I would definitely stay in Buffalo and at this hotel.
