Crystal at the front desk is amazing. She is super nice and very helpful. She went above and beyond to help us feel welcomed. The room is clean and the AC is working great. Thank for providing a great room at a great price.

    • Surprising friends we have known for 30 years

We left around 8:00 am on Sunday, June 30 2019 from Lafayette Indiana. We arrived in Burlington Iowa around noon their time, because they are 1 hour behind us. We found their place and showed up and they definitely were surprised to see us. We talked awhile and then went out to eat and talked more and then went to the motel to rest for our big day tomorrow. The motel was average. Their staff was nice and helpful. The breakfast was great, The rooms were kind of small for a handicap room. All and all I would stay their again.

    • Affordable Stay But Don't Expect Too Much

      Reviewed 09 May 2019

Stayed here recently while in town because I was hired to entertain for a high school after prom. I am a professional travelling mentalist who does a tour of these type of events each spring. Unfortunately these shows for me take place at o-ridiculous-thirty in the morning. This one was scheduled to begin at 3:30 a.m. I called down to the front desk to ask for a wake-up call at 2:00 a.m. The man I spoke with had a heavy Middle-Eastern accent but seemed to understand English. He pointed out that this was a very unusual time to request for a wake up call. I told him that I realized that but that it was important and explained why. I also set my smartphone alarm to go off at 2:00 a.m. as well but asked for a wake up call to back me up as I have had alarms fail me before. At 2:00 a.m. my alarm went off. No phone call. Most hotels I've stayed at seem to program this into a phone system somehow so that a person doesn't have to be awake to make the call. I got up, cleaned up, and packed my things and started to head out to my venue, trying to be quiet as to not wake anyone up with my fumbling around. I'm literally walking out the door when the phone rings. It's 2:30 a.m. and it's my wake-up call. I told the man it was a half hour late and he said the note he had said 2:30 a.m. I didn't have time to deal with it. He apologized and I went about my business. Thankfully my own alarm didn't fail and everything went just fine. However, this is one of those singular important things that I believe is necessary for hotels to get right without fail. It was the principle of the matter that frustrated me. I left the hotel later the next day thinking the old phrase "well you get what you pay for." Apart from this, the rooms were clean, bed comfortable, and staff friendly. There's no elevator so expect to shlep your stuff up and down stairs if you aren't staying on the first floor. Not a bad stay, but not one I'm going to exactly give a rave review about either.

    • Smallish room with some age but well maintained

A/C worked all night. Tub/shower combo has handrail for safety and a clean tub mat. Caulking is fresh, no mildew, but not a very neat job. Plenty of lights and outlets. Good breakfast. Efficient and friendly staff. Not a super-snazzy faciility, but clean and met ALL our needs. We would stay again in a minute.

    • Nice & Clean Rooms & Pillows are Good

      Reviewed 03 October 2018

The Hotel is quite old but was very clean and nice. Every Staff member is good. Bed's are comfortable and Pillows are very nice. The only problem is the Breakfast Hours. Weekdays Breakfast ends early. They need to extend this. It seems like the Breakfast Area is remodeled recently. Service is Good. Rooms are Nice and Clean. Have A Fitness Room on property. Business center and Drinking Water in Lobby. Robin and Lisa are great. Would definitely come back.
