    • Hotel to stay with family

      Reviewed 04 September 2019

One of the best hotels in Azerbaijan. Whatever appears on booking sites, the hotel is same while on site. Have swimming pools, breakfast option and reasonable price lunch and dinner option on-site. Good for children

    • One of the worst service ever

      Reviewed 14 August 2019

We stayed at the hotel for three nights. Service was really really really bad. We requested for tooth brush and tissue three times but we never got it. The reception never answer the phone as well as room service. The breakfast buffet was below expectations. The egg was too oily. The only good thing in this hotel is that they have a nice garden. Overall I don't recommend anyone to book in this hotel.

We had booked this hotel for a 2 nights stay after looking at the website and pictures. The hotel is away from the town and in a secluded place. We are vegetarians and had a harrowing time here. The hotel looks good when you check in. The Reception executive (I forgot his name) was a decent guy and explained the facilities available at the hotel. We were a family of 3 adults and were allotted a room on the second floor(actually its first floor since the ground floor they call first floor). The room was at the end of a corridor. A big decent room but with a small bathroom with a small shower area, the towels and toiletries kept on the wall on top of the WC. Average quality of shampoo and bath gel in small bottles. There was a electric kettle in the room with 2 local tea bags but no coffee. When asked for the coffee sachets they say its chargeable. They have a spa with indoor pool, steam, sauna, massage and hamam facilities. All these except the massage is free. The sauna was good but the steam was not working. When I pointed this to the staff they said its normal steam and not high steam. The fact is there was no steam at all. We went back to our room by now it was dark and we realized that the corridors leading to our room are dimly lit and dark. All the corridors were dark giving an eerie feel. Later we went to the restaurant and asked for any vegetarian options for dinner. Only a few understand English and we explained that we need food without eggs, fish, meat, chicken. They show us the menu and point to a dish and say this is vegetarian where its clearly written it contains lamb. On pointing this out to them they say they will remove Lamb and give it. Finally one person understood and said they could only serve Spaghetti Napolitan and Veg Pizza which we ordered. Both the dishes were ok.We requested them to please keep some vegetarian dishes for breakfast atleast. In the morning for breakfast they just had porridge, one vegetarian dish which was very salty and salad. They had bread loafs but no sliced bread. There was canned fruit juice but freshly squeezed orange juice was chargeable. Its good we had some home food that we had carried along on which we survived. We may have had a bad time due the food but maybe others wouldn't face such problems. We cut short our stay and checked out after 1 night and forfeiting our 1 nights stay.
