      Stayed here for one night towards the end of March after a mix up on the hotel next door - who actually are under the same head company. We were upgraded to the 5 star Pullmans Hotel last minute which was good news and there were definitely aspects which lean towards the 5 star rating such as the bathroom, range of pillow choice and amenities... however with this said there are definitely areas where this hotel missed the mark. Im aware of the standards of a 5 star property as I work within the same 5 star accommodation industry. The cleanliness in the room had missed the mark with visible dust on glass top surfaces, mirror smear marks and an unclean fridge. The fridge is so well stocked that perhaps its easy to miss however as I needed the space I removed some items to find the areas which hadnt been cleaned. Due to the ongoing worldwide pandemic it is understandable why the food / restaurant would be closed and limited for choice. Im not sure why there are complaints regarding that really. It isnt far to walk to the available restaurant in the hotel next door which was supplying take away options at the time of staying there. The staff working the front desk on times I spoke to them were helpful and answered any questions I had. I do question why the shuttle to the international airport was running on such a limited service. To finish the service by 12pm seem outrageous considering flights are throughout the day, ours was due at 9pm. Thankfully I found alternative way to get to the airport at a more suitable time. Overall I would happily stay here again but perhaps they should consider lowering the price as, again, it doesnt quite meet the 5 star standard in my eyes. Very good but wasnt 5 star.

      I hadn't planned to review this hotel until I received a follow up directly from the hotel that wouldn't allow me to upload a negative review. I am just going to be frank with other visitors. I was in the midst of the pandemic. Everything was shut down and businesses were suffering. I own a business and operate it fully even while traveling.. In these times, instead of covering our asses, perhaps stepping up and making the customer experience the goal in our transactions would be a refreshing angle. This hotel failed on food available, service available and comfort available. I will not be more specific, but after traveling for days to get home, I couldn't even get the news on the tv, this is a 5 star hotel. In high times I'm sure it's different, but in challenging times, they don't have a clue.

      We picked the hotel based on being at the airport with a 5 minute walk to the domestic terminal because we had an early flight the next morning. The hotel was really superior in terms of the quality of the room and quality of the service. Room service was excellent because we were tired and so to get high-quality food delivered quickly to our room so we could just relax was great. Bedding and furniture were nice, plenty of closet space, and the bathroom was well done. The only downer (and this is not the hotel's fault) was that when we arrived at the airport, we dropped off our rental car and made the walk to the hotel. Signage made it easy to know where to go...but it was raining and most, but not all, of the walk to the hotel is covered. So for the portion that was uncovered we got rained on pretty good. It'd be nice if they could rectify that.

      A beautiful hotel with all the extras that just make you go wow! Upon arriving to my room, a big welcome message was on the television screen with my name on it. I ordered a tofu curry from the 24hour room service menu and it was a solid 9/10! The bathtub is separate from the shower and quite large. I just loved the pillow menu and slept so comfortably. In the morning after my pre-scheduled wakeup call I had a Nespresso coffee machine will a full range selection to indulge in. I will be back!

    • Very pleasant stay

      My first stay at the Pullman is unlikely to be my last. I found the staff very friendly and helpful, the room was very pleasant and the dinner was excellent. Overall a very good hotel. I was intrigued by the lounge at the Pullman but did not book it as i could not look up any details on it; the only 'miss' I found with the stay.
