This is our second visit to this hotel and we will keep coming there , staff was friendly , room was clean , breakfast included , if you dont want to pay unreasonable price to be on the ocean , this is the perfect place.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Port Inn Kennebunk! The hotel is clean and very well maintained. Large comfortable beds, nice breakfast, heated pool. The staff were very friendly. We had a dog with us and the hotel even gave her a little gift. What a nice touch! Would happily come back to this hotel and would recommend it to anyone.

I used to adore this place because it was clean, consistent and the staff was fantastic. This visit was very disappointing. My first room smelled like wet dog. When I went back to switch, I discovered that dogs are allowed in certain rooms. Gross. My second room smelled like wet sneakers with a hint of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. I couldnt deal any more but I am thinking that the place is timed out and needs a major cleansing. Will seek alternatives probably.

First of all, this is neither an inn or a hotel, just a glorified motel. No elevator to 2nd floor rooms, no safe in the room, outlet in the bathroom did not work, no secure internet. The breakfast room is small, there are too few tables on the patio, and the selection is mediocre (no fruit, packets of jelly rather than preserves or jam). The location is not great must drive to restaurants, shopping, etc. The bed was comfortable, though the pillows are too large and flat. Completely lacking in charm.

This was the second time we stayed at the Port Inn. Our first visit (last year) was lovely. This time around I wasn't impressed. I noticed rotted wood around the outside and trash cans overflowing. The pet waste disposal was not emptied regularly. Upon check in we noticed our dead bolt lock did not work. I notified the front desk who upon checking it out said it would be fine. No one can get in without a key card except hotel employees. 5 days we stayed and no one bothered to fix the lock. Breakfast was the same thing every day and it was hard to find a fork and knife. Also not one piece of fresh fruit. We'll stay elsewhere next year.
