    • Adequate hotel for Kilimanjaro climb

The Parkview Inn is popular with Kilimanjaro climbers and their tour companies. The place is nice and the rooms clean but it is a budget hotel. The bathroom fixtures aren't tightly attached, the wifi is slow and limited and sheets are thin. But it is more than enough for a few nights before and after your climb. The restaurant is decent and the staff are helpful.

a really nice hotel at the start and end of the trek! basic facilities but everything works with really attentive staff! waiting times can be a bit long but just sit back and enjoy the views of Mt K ! rooms are a bit basic but comfortable and the f&b are good too the pool was freezing when we were there but that's not always a bad thing!!

The hotel was great, comfortable rooms, quiet and a nice swimming pool and restaurant on site. Restaurant service was very slow if you ordered food off the menu though - will take at least an hour. We had the buffet one night though and this was nice and of course you don't have to wait for it. Also the shower in our room on the first night was just one jet of water which wasnt great and flooded the bathroom.

Stayed here before taking off on a 9 day hike of Mt Kilimanjaro. The restaurant was gd, staff friendly, and we could keep our luggage safe in the store for the duration of the hike. My main gripe was that the showers didn't work well. And that's something I missed while on the mountain.

Good: * Able to store bags while off doing the hikes/safaris * Staff were always helpful and easy to deal with * Good sized twin rooms on the 1st and 2nd floors * Decent pool with a view of Kili * An office safe to store cash and passports * Decent priced drinks Bad: * There was often a long wait for dinner (1.5 hours was the longest we had to wait) * Long drive from here to Meru if you are wanting to do that hike (3 hours+ drive) * The announcements (Prayer) across the road every morning at 5am we're annoying Other: * Handy to the nightclub down the road (Redstone) * Wifi is ver temperamental (works best by the pool)
