Excellent hotel in the Gangnam area

Excellent hotel. The personnel is very friendly and helpful. Food in the two restaurants is very good. The location is great if you have meetings in the Gangnam area. The only minor improvement the hotel could make is the elevators. They are fast but you always first have to go to the 24th floor before being able to go down to the ground floor with another elevator.

The Staff were great but unfortunately the hotel is not up to the usual Park Hyatt standard. Granted its an old hotel, but for the price I expected more. I will try the Andaz next trip , hope it lives up to the Hyatt reputation there.

ReviewedFirst time in S.Korea and loved my stay at the Park Hyatt Seoul. Bed comfort (I don't love hard beds) and linens were fabulous - could adjust temps to the coolness I prefer and the metro is literally steps away. One thing to consider - you take the lift up to 24th floor to check in and to then get a separate lift for rooms. This does provide an extra measure of security - you cannot get to rooms w/o going to 24 and there is always someone monitoring the lifts in a helpful way. It also makes the access a little longer than you might expect. Ability to use the Hotel car for blocks of time is super helpful, but we found the metro to be fairly easy to navigate, Restaurant - only had dinner there but was great. Travelling companions raved about the breakfast offerings.

ReviewedThis hotel was above expectations. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was exquisite - clean with many amenities and a beautiful view. It felt like luxury! I ordered room service one night and it was delicious as well (went for the western club sandwich). Great experience all around.
