This hotel is certainly a hidden gem. It is located steps away from the center of Sorrento, about a ten minute walk to both Marina Grande and Marina Piccolo ports and near many lovely churches and museums. Sorrento itself was one of the cleanest places in Italy that I have ever seen. Our hotel room was extremely fabulous. It had a private large terrace off of the room which includes 2 sunbathing chairs, a couch, 2 additional lounging chairs and a table. The hotel itself is like a museum; the decor is something I have never seen in a hotel. We honestly could have spent our entire stay just there. The hotel room was clean and large. The hotel staff (esp Francesco) was very helpful regarding recommendations for things to do during our stay and recommendations for dinner. The hotel offered a free breakfast with our stay and had happy hour from 6-7pm with complimentary drinks and snacks. Highly recommend if you want a relaxing and luxurious vacation stay!

We cannot say enough good things about Palazzo Marziale. The lobby is a work of art and so absolutely stunning. All of the staff were so friendly, and helpful. They provided so many great recommendations for things to do in the area. The breakfast served on the terrace was stunning and we could have sat out there all day. It is also in an extremely convenient location, close to the beach clubs as well as the downtown/square area with shops and restaurants. Something we did not know, was that they also give you full access to their sister hotel if you want to swim and grab lunch. That property is an equally beautiful white villa that was so peaceful and relaxing. Seriously, look no further for a hotel as this is the best place ever!

I found this place through trip advisor and wasn't disappointed. It is a family run hotel that shows how much they care about the history of the building but have a modern very upscale look. The mom Pauloa I believe is extremely creative and has wonderful pieces of art and furnishings throughout the property. Her daughter Rita is a star my wife feel in live with how caring and well she handled herself. She is a treasure and beautiful soul. The entire staff was very accommodating and our room with a terrace was perfect. The location is excellent and although near everything it is very private once you are inside. I can't wait to return and wish I had planned to stay longer. Ciao for now!

Recently returned from a wonderful 5 night stay at this beautiful hotel. The location of the hotel is perfect, just in front of the gardens where you can get the lift down to the sea... there are also steps which we tended to use. The staff are so friendly and will help and give guidance if and when required, the 2 free drinks each evening on the terrace was lovely, the breakfast couldnt be faulted... I wouldnt want to stay anywhere where else if I was in Sorrento and would love to return. The hotel recommended and booked 2 boat trips for us, firstly along the Amalfi coast - perfect day 5*!! then secondly to Capri..... although each trip cost 100 euros approx I would definitely recommend them. You will not be disappointed at all staying here ..... perfect!!!!

I am so glad we booked Palazzo Marziale. It is a beautiful boutique hotel in a prime location in Sorrento and the rooms are beautiful, as are the bathrooms. My favorite thing was the breakfast each morning...incredible spread with fresh fruit, eggs, bacon, cereal, pastries, veggies, etc. and a waitstaff to get you coffee, tea, etc. I also loved the evening aperitif each night; really nice to grab a snack and a drink after a day of exploring! We ate at the restaurant one night and I don't know what the deal was but we were one of two couples there so it was absolutely serene and the service was excellent. The food was delicious! Overall - a great stay. Only thing I wasn't pleased about was noise from scooters going by late at night but not the hotel's problem.
