Located in central BCN, this small and typical Catalan restaurant managed by cool women is an interesting alternative to larger and more commercial venues. Service was very friendly and charming. The interior design is totally unpretentious, with traditional set-up and decoration, and no fancy stuff. The menu offers a limited yet varied amount of la carte specialties, and there is also a daily menu. The bonito (tuna) with fresh tomatoes etcetera, the house interpretation of patatas braves, the octopus, the artichokes, ... were all very nicely prepared and tasted excellent. The oven baked pasta was too cooked and not very original in taste. The deserts (amongst others a kind of chocolate mousse, Nutella style) were very special and appreciated. The coffee was very sour and almost undrinkable. Prices are acceptable for the good quality and nice portions.

ReviewedOne of the best places in Barcelona. The owner sat with us and explained us about the origin of the food, dishes, how tjey cook their amazing macaroni. We ate peas hummus which was amazing, great calamari and soup. Deserts are unique specially the chocolate cake. Excellent food, superb service and prices are really cheap. You need to go if you visit barcelona or of you live there!

Loved the traditional presentation and delicious bread with tomatoes which you rubbed on with oil and salt yourself. Had the pate too which I felt was expensive for what it was and not overly tasty. Lovely for lunch little pricy.
