    • 5-Star Staff

The manager Nadeem and his staff helped turn a near disaster into a delightful stay. I made a mistake when I booked our room for the second night of our 3-day roadtrip. I booked for Friday night when it should have been for Saturday night, so when I arrived on Saturday the records indicated I was a no-show for the previous night and and my credit card was charged. I was going to have to pay for two nights. Nadeem worked everything out and I was not charged for the night I missed, even though I could have been. This is a great hotel for the budget-minded traveler and though it may be rated as a 2/3 star hotel it has a 5-star staff.

Comfy bed and furnishings were up to date. Bathroom amenities were awesome! Very limited breakfast items, but what is offered is fresh and plentiful! Grounds are kept spotless, owners were friendly and helpful. Air conditioner was LOUD when it would come on, so much so that I turned it off at night. And unfortunately, train tracks are one street over from the motel and trains run all the time! Good place to stay for the money!

    • Excellent value and very well finished.

Our second-floor corner room was nicely decorated and the bathroom was as advertised, with period tile in immaculate shape. I wish that motels with pedestal sinks would provide a large space--maybe an over-toilet shelf unit--for bathroom commodities like make-up, razors, and tooth cleaning materials, but we easily used the window sill and the table/desk in the main room. It was nice to have a functional bathroom window to air that space. I was happy to have a luggage rack but wished for better lighting in the closet/hallway area so that I could leave the bag in the closet instead of using floor space in the room. I booked through Trip Advisor/Expedia and later received a notice of a price reduction so was able to re-book at the lower price. Finally, there is a railroad track about one block away from the motel. It makes quite a bit of noise when trains pass, but we didn't notice any trains between 11 pm and 6 am; perhaps we are sound sleepers? No eggs or meat for breakfast, but at the price I cannot complain. I would certainly stay again.

We found this gem during a last minute decision to stop in Pendleton. Prices were great. Staff/family were kind and welcoming. Rooms are clean and charming. It was very hot and our room was sun-facing upstairs so the AC struggled to cool it well, but other than that the stay was great. If I find my way through Pendleton again, this will be my place.

I was pleasantly surprised with this establishment. Great rates and overall I very clean and well kept motel. A fairly short walk to several highly rated trip advisor restaurants nearby. Would definitely stay here again.
